Live 8
Alrighty everyone, so I thought I'd take a break from watching the biggest rock concert ever, as "Doublecarbolcarco and
K'Nannan" was on. But yes, they are probably the worst band ever lol.
Anywho, what were your personal highlights from the day? Did anyone go? What would you like to see happen with the situation in Africa?

It's 'double caracol'...pssh.
The London show is the one worth checking out....
* Annie Lennox
* Bob Geldof
* Coldplay
* Dido
* Elton John
* Joss Stone
* Keane
* Killers, The
* Madonna
* Mariah Carey
* Ms. Dynamite
* Paul McCartney
* Pink Floyd
* Razorlight
* REM
* Robbie Williams
* Scissor Sisters
* Snoop Dogg
* Snow Patrol
* Stereophonics
* Sting
* Travis
* U2
* UB40
* Velvet Revolver
I personally didn't like the line up to the Canadian show, with the exception of Our Lady Peace and the Tragically Hip.
I mean, come on.....SIMPLE PLAN?...gosh.

How do you communicate those emotions that are so intense that no physical expression or series of words can even scratch the surface?

It should be on TV man, it's on here. In America, it's taking place in Philadelphia, so you might not be able to get it.
Everyone should go to Live 8's Website and sign your name to the list. London has such an awesome sounding line up,
yes. But you have to give a tad bit more credit to the Canadian line up. Not a tonne of credit though. Bryan Adams was amazing, African Guitar
Summit(is playing now) and they are brilliant, The Hip and OLP will be golden. There's a couple of other names...Deep Purple, for instance, that
should be really good to see.
SIGN THAT LIST AND MAKE POVERTY HISTORY. Buy some white bands too.

Every bastard channel in the UK airs Destiny's Child, live from Philadelphia.
No cunt seems to be airing Pink Floyd, though. What the fuck?

There isn't even an Australian concert, so I'm not getting anything. If they decided to release the UK set on DVD I'd snap it up in
a second.

Pink Floyd was amazing. Pretty intense that they held one in Johannesburg though, any good acts there?
