how is this possible? one is updating a profile without an account, and the other is viewing a topic that no longer exists?

Mom caved! Going to Windsor with The Livid this Friday to sell Merchandise. Hells ya!
The night's as hot as hell. It's a lousy room in a lousy part of a lousy town - I'm staring at a goddess. She's telling me she
wants me. I'm not going to waste one more minute wondering how I've gotten this lucky. She smells like angels ought to smell, the perfect
woman... the Goddess. Goldie. She says her name is Goldie.

i think bart is just screwing with us. there is no way that guests read non-existant threads, update profiles, edit posts, and write/read pms.

as i've explained in the past, guests can't do that. that's just what the site thinks they're doing.
example 1: if their login has timed out but the forum page is still open, they can still obviously click an edit post button. they won't be able
to edit it without signing in again, but at the moment they click the button they're registered as editing a post, because the URL they tried to
reach says they are.
example 2: if someone types www.thelivid.com/forums/memcp.php in the address bar when not signed in, they're taken to the member control panel
page, but get "access denied" or something, or are taken to the login page. but at the moment when they are requesting the memcp.php page,
they are registered as editing their profile. even though they can't.
guests can't edit posts or any of this stuff, but they can still show up as doing that.
as for the "non-existant threads", that's bullshit. i don't spend my time making up thread names and chuckling while writing
that guests are viewing them. you can click on the thread names now anyway and are taken to that thread.

Alright, so we're looking into getting a car, and we found what we think is a good deal.
1996 Cavalier, 4-door, A/C, 108,000km, rust free and completely clean, automatic, black and lady owned...all for a grand total of $2900 canadian.
Is this a good deal, or not? I thought it was, but Andrea's mom thinks that's too much. Should we just wait to wait for another? Seemed
like a great deal, but I don't know much about cars. We're probably going to look at it tonight.

tell you waht, if youdon't get it i will, i wish oi could finda deal lke that
i don't know much about cars, but i know that 2900 is around where i am right now for how much money to spend on a vehicle. you would have to
get it checked out by a mechanic tho to be certain

And they claimed it's certified and e-tested, as well. It's alot easier to find a cheap car out hear then it is in Alberta, unfortunately
for you Jorge.
Albertans don't have to certify their cars like they do in Ontario. Or at least they didn't when I lived there. So basically, Jorge, the
car isn't legally aloud to be driven unless a mechanic says everything about the car is in top shape. There can't be a crack in the glass,
or their can't be a problem with the handles to open the door...everything has to be paid for and fixed for it to be aproved.
I still think it's a good deal. Especially considering the low KM.

auto! yuck! get a manual. only women drive automatics.
seems like a reasonable amount of money for an 8-year-old car. and if you think 110,000km is ok, i can't see a problem with the asking price.
just make sure the mechanic dude gives it the thumbs up, and make sure you get a full service history. if they don't provide one, tell em to
feck off.

I can drive manual transmission, I just don't like it. Oddly enough, I don't think any of my male friends can drive manual, yet, all my
female friends can and do. I find it a pain in the ass, but I've only ever driven reeeeally bad cars with it. Our last car was a nightmare.
'87 chevette (or older..can't remember). The clutch actually stuck and didn't come up half the time. I think half the people that
drove it, cried (seriously). haha. Either way, it made me want a car with automatic transmission.
Luckily my brother-in-law is a mechanic. He knows all the ins and outs of cars. He actually just built his dream car from bottom up. He's
finally got it on the road. It's pretty mint. He and one other guy run a shop and this other guy aproves cars to be certified, so there
shouldn't be a problem there.
And it's really hard to find a car with low KM's like that. The lowest other than that, in our price range was 150,000 and the rest were
200,000+

i hated manual when i started because it was hard to learn. but once you've got the hang of it and you're more confident it can be SO
fun. makes driving more interesting i think. i don't know why but i know more girls than guys who can drive manual.....you'd think
it'd be the other way around.
