How the hell do you make marmite out? Maybe the lighting is really bad, but I thought it was some sort of robot mask.. With the robot flairing his arms towards his head.

Oh geeze.

Voilá! This is what the marmite jar looks like:

This is what Marmite is (According to marmite.com)
"MARMITE is a concentrated yeast extract paste, enjoyed at any time of the day"
"100% vegetarian"
"MARMITE has a distinctive savoury taste, unlike anything else. "

It's a product from the UK, which I fell in love with when I tried it in France last summer. I've been wanting some since. For my birthday, Chris and Bart were going to send some overseas, but no satisfaction just yet. Chris thinks it'd make a nice Halloween gift, since it's such a scary product after all...

Meh, well, vegemite has been on the shelves here a lot longer than marmite has, so I just assumed.

quite salty. haven't ever had vegemite but apparently it's more bitter.
it's slightly sweet, but not much. salty... ummm...
it's very hard to explain. it doesn't taste like anything i can think of.

I know this was a while back, but I thought it was quite important...

You should have knocked on wood...My good friend that lives Calgary was telling me about the front page in the calgary sun yesterday...kids stole a stop sing, guy ran it and died...I dont have the artical so I'm not sure what's gonna happen to the kids, bu I'll try and get my hands on the artical for all those intrested.

Damn you, Bart....I shake my fist at you!
And um, marmite is just good...I don't think I can explain the taste of it. I agree with what Bart said, though.

Hey Chris, did you know there's a Marmite commercial that is just perfect for you? I don't know if you've seen it before or not, but apparently there's this chick and her boyfriend, and she like goes away for a couple seconds to the kitchen, and then she comes back and they're snogging, and the guy pushes her away with an expression of disgust...because she just had some marmite.
Sound familiar?
