this guy had just done "The Shoe" and is puking in the bin. "The Shoe" must be completed if you have spilt your drink while
participating in a drinking circle. The Shoe works like this: your Shoe (left or right at the choosing of the accuser) is removed and a full can of
beer opened and poured into it. you must then drink the contents of The Shoe. i've never had to do a Shoe and i hope i never do. it's not
pretty.

ah the bolognaise - made with the finest asda smartprice chopped tomatoes, the rarest iceland minced beef known to man, onions from the
students' union veg market and whatever other stuff looked tasty at the time. possibly some of the tomato puree my mum brought me the other week
was thrown in. cooked to perfection alongside pasta and served topped with grated cheddar cheese and with some kind of beverage on the side.
wonderful. i made a chilli con carni too, and i still have some of that left. might have it now. then again it might have gone off by now.
and i can get high quality asda thin and crispy ham and pineapple pizzas at the bargain price of 3 for £3. and these pizzas are fantastic. i'm
livin' the high life.

some shots of The Hobbit - the Best Pub there is.
nice pub upstairs, selling five pint-big cocktails named after lord of the rings characters (they're all different colours and everything. i
like the gandalf best), and then:
cushty armchairs in the room across from the ...
live music room
the covered bit of outside
more of the beer garden. there's a little waterfall and everything.
i want to get better photos. i didn't take a photo in the opposite direction outside, where there are loads of benches. and there's a
sorta secret area up the stairs on the right, just out of the photo. you can see the stairs on the previous photo actually. fantastic pub.
