it takes a strong man to allow himself to be photographed drinking lucky lager.
Amid the chaos of that day, when all I could hear was the thunder of gunshots, and all I could smell was the violence in the air, I look back and am
amazed that my thoughts were so clear and true, that three words went through my mind endlessly, repeating themselves like a broken record:
you're so cool, you're so cool, you're so cool. And sometimes Clarence asks me what I would have done if he had died, if that bullet
had been two inches more to the left. To this, I always smile, as if I'm not going to satisfy him with a response. But I always do. I tell him
of how I would want to die, but that the anguish and the want of death would fade like the stars at dawn, and that things would be much as they are
now. Perhaps. Except maybe I wouldn't have named our son Elvis.

Hello from Calgary. Thought I'd show you a few pics from my last week on vacation.
Pics are of me and my buddy going for a walk in -50 degree weather. We got lost and almost died.
A pic of the scenery while driving to Saskatchewan. A whole lot of nothing the whole way.
Also, a pic at a sheesha bar..or whatever it's called, downtown Calgary.

Perhaps, but the fact that it was around -60 with the wind doesn't make the thought very appealing. It was so cold that the for the entire 8
hour drive the car windows were frozen from the inside, so you couldn't see out. Defrost didn't do a thing.

Chris you look freakin cold. Are your eyes frozen open?
No, I was just exaggerating the cold by widening my eyes. Actually, there were icicles on my eyelashes at that point. By the time we got home, my eyes
froze together when I blinked, and all the hair on my face was slightly frozen.
