Note to self: NEVER walk out into a field full of hungry horses with a bucket full of grain again....EVER.
The night's as hot as hell. It's a lousy room in a lousy part of a lousy town - I'm staring at a goddess. She's telling me she
wants me. I'm not going to waste one more minute wondering how I've gotten this lucky. She smells like angels ought to smell, the perfect
woman... the Goddess. Goldie. She says her name is Goldie.

Yay, my film stock arrived today. All 600 dollars worth of it. Stupid filming ratios, 48 minutes of stock for a 6 minute film.

Nah, the general thing is, the more film you shoot, the easier it will be later on to edit. So our group has an 8:1 ratio because we have 8 times as
much film as what our end product will be. Most other groups will probably opt for 3 rolls, maybe even only 2, which simply makes things 100 times
harder.
Because film can't be erased like a video camera tape can as soon as you start shooting the footage is eating away at your reserves, if you find
you need to do a few takes of a number of shots it can really add up, especially since the cameras need to wind up when you switch them on (using up a
small amount of film in the process). It's a really long and annoying process, and it all costs money.

im actually working on somthing now, with a buddy, our only problem is we have no idea what our film is about... we've actually already shot 2
scenes, i guess we're just going to see where this thing goes, and roll with it.

Were going to shoot this movie called "A Series of Un-Fortunate Events". But it's just going to be us tobogganing down ski hills.
Yikes!

The film will be about the holocaust. Since it's for uni we get student rates which is good, 40% off film stock (it would have been like 1000
without it), 75% off printing to tape ($175 instead of $800 an hour) and way cheaper processing too. Still going to cost the group of us about 1000
though.
It's a pity film looks so much better than video, as it stands though I can't really complain about cost.

Doco. Going to the holocaust museum and interviewing a survivor might try and do some period stuff too, but we'll see. You can only fit so much
in 6 minutes (surprisingly enough, six minutes worth).

Yeah you can, but if they're overly large it'd be wise to compress them.
I could rattle off a couple programs for doing that but I'll let tremendous help you with that, since i can't really be arsed.
