i found myself back stage a few times, and in the company of many different band members, and a certain forum member. the bands put on good sets, the sound was pretty good, the venue a bit small, and the promoter a bit annoying. i wasn't feeling too well. but, very true it was a sick show...

hey bart, can you make a "Delete all" button on the buddy list?

i've tried everything, but there are 3 members that i can't delete from my list, and one is spelled wrong. it's just annoying.

i suppose it's useful if there are hundreds of members on all day long, so you can see if certain people are there at a glance. no point on this forum though. might just get rid of it.

I see. Does it do anything else? Like make a chime if one of your buddies logs on?

well when i send a pm, everyone on my buddy list is at the very top of that long-ass list. so that i can just click the member instead of typing in the whole name.

Don't get rid of it though, si vous plait...like Ian said, it helps me send PMs instead of having to go through the whole member list.
Whether it's useful or not, 'one man's garbage is another man's treasure'...or something like that, so..keep it. kthx.

or perhaps we've been able to say what we want in other threads, deeming this one unvaluable for the time being.

why are 'profound' posts always followed with a

'- [name]'

does that make it an open letter to the forums? is it because you're that confident that you're right? i just dont get it.

[Edited on 19-10-04 by mr. dobalina]

Amid the chaos of that day, when all I could hear was the thunder of gunshots, and all I could smell was the violence in the air, I look back and am amazed that my thoughts were so clear and true, that three words went through my mind endlessly, repeating themselves like a broken record: you're so cool, you're so cool, you're so cool. And sometimes Clarence asks me what I would have done if he had died, if that bullet had been two inches more to the left. To this, I always smile, as if I'm not going to satisfy him with a response. But I always do. I tell him of how I would want to die, but that the anguish and the want of death would fade like the stars at dawn, and that things would be much as they are now. Perhaps. Except maybe I wouldn't have named our son Elvis.

he said "profound," not just any comment. what he was (and i'm assuming here) making reference to, is how people seem to write long comments on the forums, of serious matter, and then choose to sign it. they do not do this for ever comment.

to answer you joel, perhaps it is to accent the seriousness of the topic at hand. not to say that one is right, but rather to express a serious opinion.
