Apparently someone doesn't like the snow. Her name rhymes with age, begins with a 'P' and sounds like those sheets you find in booklets and such.

However, snow ball fights in class is the new shit.

The night's as hot as hell. It's a lousy room in a lousy part of a lousy town - I'm staring at a goddess. She's telling me she wants me. I'm not going to waste one more minute wondering how I've gotten this lucky. She smells like angels ought to smell, the perfect woman... the Goddess. Goldie. She says her name is Goldie.

Wow.
Best night...ever.
Well, one of the best nights..ever.

Thornley was fuckin' amazing. One of the best performances of the night was "Come Again" for sure.
And, how fuckin' hot is Ian?!?! Very.

Scott from F11 was such a sweetheart. I really didn't think he would be such a nice guy. Kiss on the cheek and everything. -le sigh-

SteveO was drunk out of his mind, but he was still nice and stuff, and complimented my ass, which I can only hope was a good thing.
Cone was nice as well, too nice, actually. Again, I had never had the opportunity to "chat it up" with any of these people, so I was surprised for the most part.

The band 'C'mon' needed to get offstage. I don't understand, maybe it was just me..but..holy crap they sucked. And, on the radio their song isn't THAT bad.
Oh well, that was like less than 10 minutes of torture.

The Marble Index was really good as well... "this song is gonna fucking change your life!!" haha. He said that before playing their hit single.

Billy Talent stole the show, as expected. I actually got to talk to Ian for a bit so that was interesting, again, a nice guy, his gf/fiance/groupie took him away though, haha.
They performed 3 songs whereas everyone else performed 2 and the songs were "Line and Sinker","River Below",and "Try Honesty". The crowd was rocking, and I was about 2 people away from Ben, and still felt his sweat. This guy goes psycho on stage.

Finger Eleven opened the show with "Good Times" and "One thing".
The Waking Eyes were good too. At the particular time they were playing I was kinda busy looking for AJ, but..got to pay attention to half of the performance.

The Stills performed two of their tracks, one of them being "the still in love song" and it was one of the best performances of the night in my opinion. Such presence.

By the end of the night, I managed to talk to Alan Cross for a good 20 minutes or so. I told him "I was the chick who left a message on your voice mail" and he said "I like what you did with your outfit" since that's what the voice mail was about.
I apologized for leaving a stupid message like "what am i supposed to wear to the CASBYs without looking like a fool?" but he said I have the right to call/e-mail/harass any member of the station, so not to worry about it.
He gave me his business card and asked me to e-mail him, he is considering coming to my highschool as a lecturer, I told him about my involvement with the Ongoing history of Music through my own school, so that impressed him and he asked me a bunch of questions.

Dean Blundell showed his ass.
Todd Shapiro showed his frontal region.

Gotta say it was one hell of a night, the conversations were just hilarious for the most part. Specially with F11'S singer and Alan Cross, who has been my "influence" in music journalism for as long as I can remember.

I'd say more, but I'd be here for hours.
Plus, it's not like anyone cares haha.

How many people close and lock the bathroom door, even when no one is home?

I meant Ian Thornley...but, you're quite the looker too mr.guitarist..
It was fun. I'm just still surprised at how nice some people there were. People I thought would be rude assholes, weren't.

Now, in reply to Krista's post: I do.
Always, whether someone is home or not..for some reason I feel that it is no one's business what goes on in there, and I've always had a fear of someone coming in while I'm in the shower...kinda like in "Psycho".
