Wake me im lost in this dream
Help me im just lost in a nightmare
This time ______ pull the plug
I have been holding a grudge all along
Hold me
Let me know
Tell me what i might become
I could say i've grown up
But i secretly keep falling apart
I'm heartless no doubt
Your heartlessness is wearing me out
I've figured you out
There's no need to explain yourself
One more time
It's just like me and it's tripping me out
maybe its wrong to be __me?mean?__
But it's just the way i learned to cope
____ Pull the plug
Let go
Hold me
Let me know
Save me from what i've become
I could say i've grown up
But i secretly keep falling apart
I'm heartless no doubt
Your heartlessness is wearing me out
I've figured you out
There's no need to explain yourself
One more time
You're just like me and it's tripping me out
Tripping me out
Wearing me out
Tripping me out
Wearing me out
Triping me...
(chorus)
that's what we've got so far.
Some things take more than a lifetime.

I remember chris playing this song to me with is accoustic guitar trying to see if i liked it... I have made some adjustments to the lyrics from what
i can remember:
Wake me, im lost in this dream
Help me, has this all been a nightmare
Pulling the plug, This time you’ve got me by the throat
I have been holding a grudge all along
Hold me
Let me know
Tell me what i might become
I could say i've grown up
But i secretly keep falling apart
I'm heartless no doubt
Your heartlessness is wearing me out
I've figured you out
There's no need to explain yourself
One more time
It's just like me and it's tripping me out
maybe its wrong to be me?
But it's just the way i learned to cope
Pulling the plug, This time you’ve got me by the throat
Let go. Let go, Let go.
Hold me
Let me know
Save me from what i've become
I could say i've grown up
But i secretly keep falling apart
I'm heartless no doubt
Your heartlessness is wearing me out
I've figured you out
There's no need to explain yourself
One more time
You're just like me and it's tripping me out
Tripping me out
Wearing me out
Tripping me out
Wearing me out
Triping me...
(chorus)

Anyway, I really like this song, and the lyric is definitely me, not mean. Which makes sense.

Chris is such a brilliant songwriter. It's not something that often gets mentioned when people praise the band, but he really is incredible. And
it's nice to see his style evolve from the depressed nature of KotC to the more angry emotions he puts forth these days. Very well done in my
opinion, many kudos to him.

Why KotC? Aren't the 'of' and 'the' of equal importance?
Shame on you Sin.

i don't get that. he said "KotC" which i'd also write if i did any capital letters. i'd say from that that
"of" and "the" are equal, both having lowercase letters.
but yes. chris writes good lyrics. in fact i think i like all his lyrics, except perhaps the draping skin bit in "to you". maybe another
bit or two, but nothing major.

I haven't actually heard To You played, so I can't judge the lyrics just yet, who knows, maybe it's more of a Hardcore song and
Justin will just scream the lyrics anyway (that would be quite hilarious if they did do a song like that).

it's not likely though, cause chris said To You was more like their older stuff, like broke and crossed.
