Well Done Guys!!!
Extremely well done, I as well as many others I am sure are completely blown away, The Video looks Great, there are some that are concerned with the
simplicity of it, I think it emphasizes the band and the music and does not detract from the spectacular live show you boys put on. It says a great
deal about the energy and effort that goes into each live show, (anybody whos ever seen THE LIVID live knows what I mean)\
Congrats on a spectacular show!

i didnt mean to say that it was crap all together. and i didnt mean to say thats how some things should have been done. i wasnt there, i dont know the
details on everything so i dont know what was available to them and what they could have done and what not. i just think that if some things were done
just a little different (little things) that it might have made the video quite a bit better.
on another note. i noticed, right around 18-20 seconds into the video, Christian is using his fingers to play rather than a pick, where as the rest of
the video he uses a pick. just a little thing i noticed. so after seeing that i was wondering, does Christian usually use a pick or finger pick?? just
curious.

The song sounds sweet (first time I've heard it), the video looks good as well, gets the job done and that's all that really matters
(though I really like video clips with a story to them, maybe next time). I was also wondering about the Christian thing, whether he uses a pick or
plays two finger style.

Kevinnn if you would read back a couple posts you would find an explanation - several people have asked this already and it's been explained
lots of times, indeed in this very thread there is a simple explanation.

I am PLEADING that you work your magic and as soon as it is humanly possible you try to figure out to get a way to work the video on MAC..
(I have an imac at home...and i have only seen the video once..and it was half of it..and it was on a windows at school and now that I tried to access
it again it wouldn't work for some reason)
so pleaseee..i want to be able to see it again.....

Hey Robbie. I use a pick for the intro rif, and then switch to the 2 finger runs for the first half of the verse for the groove, then to picking for
the rock, then back to fingers for the chorus....I try to do both where the tone works. Remember, the tone comes from the musician, not so much the
amp or the guitar. And it was a fun hot day in the sun shooting that video. I'm glad you're all digging it. We hope to do another one with
a bigger budget. Chris Bowes did a fantastic job for what little time and gear we had to work with.

It's a completely off the subject, but i just noticed that my fof cd case has a bunch of crack-resembling lines etched in it. was it designed
like that, or is it a flaw?

Call me strange but that is the funniest thing all day...So unexpected....hahaha...ya i'm tired.....
but ya i was wondering ..........with the whole leading lady contest someone said there was a cool story to it but no one ever said what it was gonna
be....anyone know?
How do you communicate those emotions that are so intense that no physical expression or series of words can even scratch the surface?

1. the FOF was designed like that...
2. there are threads that explain what happened with the leading lady contest. so get reading...
3. Thanks Christian for your support and props. i gotta give it to the band for the great performances all day long... this video was really to show
that the band could put on a show and its quite clear to me and all whom have seen the video that the livid really does rock live... a killer band
from any angle.

The leading lady thing got canned, and she was sent a lovely basket thing for her hard work. I think it was canned cuz they had a new idea, or maybe
it was to do with the budget.. I can't remember off the top of my head, but i'll look through some threads and find the reason.

It wasn't because of the budget or a new idea. It is explained on other threads - do a search or something. Thanks Christian for explaining the
pick/fingers mystery!

Hey Livid Fans out there,
Here is an up date on the goings on of the livid video. The band is still hard at work on the new songs but a rough mix has been completed and the
video will be shot on Sunday august 24th,2003. Then band and the team making the video are excited.
In lesser up beat news, do to the last minute change in song, the concept of the video had to be modified. Unfortunately, the Leading Lady contest
winner will no longer be in the video. She has been notified and was very understanding. A parting gift was given to her for her efforts and her
dedication to the project. We apologize to all contest applicants for the time wasted that was spent entering the contest and we hope that the next
time a contest such as this comes up you will not be hesitant to apply. The response to the contest was a great and the band/video production team
loved reading your letters.
Thanks again for the understanding keep your eyes out for the video.

Double L and other Mac users: the video is using the WMA9 codec which according to this
Micro$oft site will be "coming soon" for OSX.
So you just have to hang in there until they follow through...
