For the unitiated (aka P_I_S) Kwanzaa is an African-(North)American and Pan-African holiday.

I still think Emm reminds me of Tia Carrere.

Just got home from a family get together and I hate it. I used to love it. But getting older all my grandfather could do was tell me what I was doing wrong in my life and to smarten up. Fucker. There are nice ways to tell someone to be more motivated and that you would like to see them do something better. It's not the 40's anymore, unfortuntely things are a little different nowaday's. I hate to say this, but the judgment my family recieves from that side of the family is awful...and it really is 90% because we aren't perfect christians like they are. Christians like that are the most hypocritical beings on this planet (I don't at all want to start a faith conversation, so take it as it is). They ignore and act like you aren't one of them because you don't go to church every sunday and some of us have issues. Anyway....so sorry for the rant. Really. I just felt like posting that. It will probably make me feel better later to have said something about it.

Other than that the shit part of the holiday's are over, and the fun can begin. Later people.

Well, I have a family Christmas engagement tomorrow myself. Lots of little cousins up there. Not so judgemental those ones. I don't know about anyone else Rievax, but from your posts I think you certainly come across as a very decent person; the sort of person that I generally like to be friends with, no matter what your fam may try and tell you. I don't know what that counts for, I like to think it's important.

But now, it's time for what christmas is really about, and that is the presents. I hope I score some sweet loot!

Chris, because of a million family issues...(probably much different than yours considering that in my family we swore to kill each other, literally) we have decided to spend Christmas alone this year.
That's why I had to make christmas dinner for my parents, my brother, sister and myself.
(by the way...it turned out SOOOO yummy, it's orgasmic)

Hope you're feeling a lot cheerier(that's not a word) now, and know that WE all love you, and think you are great.
And, you know what I think of you, so there you go.

Rob, you're a pretty decent guy. You and I should just meet up and jam one day. That would be fun. That's some kind words of yours. I literally just got home from that and was annoyed. I really do lack motivation in my life, and some people just choose the nasty way to try and help. I don't want to act like my life is tougher than others, because it isn't. I have alot going for me.

Dez you're a sweety, too. I have run into moments like that in my life and it sucks, too bad it has to happen on the holidays. Things will get better. I've said it before, but I'll say it one more time..merry christmas all. You're all awesome.

And as for the loot. I'm pretty stoked, too. The word "loot" will always remind me of calvin and hobbes. I think I'm gonna go read some of that to put me in a good mood. And going to church in the morning is always nice. The one day of the year, for me, that church really feels right.

Wow I am so glad Reivax brought up the topic of Christians because I could sure go for a rant right now!! One side of my family is Christian, the other is Celtic. I have never been to church. My Grandma used to get the Reverend to scare me and say I was going to the devil if I didn't come. I chose being Celtic over Christianity. I just couldn't bring myself to believe in the story of Jesus and stuff like that. So today I went to a Christmas party. Guess what the host of the party got me for Christmas! A Christian cross! Then she gave me a nice long lecture about how I should believe in god and how I am going to go to hell because I don't. My Grandma is forcing me to say grace at the christmas dinner tomorrow. I won't do it. Too bad.
Aaah I feel a bit better now. Thank you.
Oh ya, and Merry Christmas.
