Hahah...Dr. Dre eh? I would have never known.

Well, that particular CD holds a special place in my heart. I'll always smile when I hear it. I even learned how to play "bitch niggaz" on the guitar and taped the tabs to our wall. (this is when I lived with my roomates and I was a bachelor)

I can't say I listen to any other rap. Maybe an occasional song.

Green Day Insomniac
Green Day Warning
Linkin Park Meteora
SOAD Toxicity
The Vines Highly Evolved.

In no particular order. Most music I listen to comes in individual song format, if you get what I mean

I'm suprised by some of the albums that have gotten listed so far. Some of them I'm thinkin "man I forgot about that album, it's a really good one" and others I kinda scratch my head and think "If that's the best album I'd hate to hear the worse!." Lots of divisrity though, and that's a good thing. He'res another question for you... What qualifies an album as one of these "best" albums for you? For me it's Great songwriting, production, and musicianship. There is also an intangible as well. I can't explain it.

i like it when the songs on an album compliment each other, and add up to the whole, and so it's more than just a collection of songs.

My choices came from many different reasons. For instance, best overall album (basically, where every single song is good), an album that holds the best memories for me, songs I will never tire of....stuff like that.

I agree with Reivax...to me, a best album will be a cd in which at least 90% of the songs are something I really love.

For example in the 'Elephunk' Cd, there are only 2 tracks which I think could be a bit better...the rest are superb.
On the 'Justified' album, I like all of them except for maybe one, but it's all the memories that come along with that cd which mean a lot to me.

Jay Z's 'Black Album' is amazing. There's not one track on that cd I would change a thing in. Simply brilliant, then again he is my favourite rapper/lyricist...whatever you want to call him.

With me it's a mix of whether the songs are enjoyable, and how I feel about the lyrics...it really doesn't matter how big or small the artist is.

I have to throw a Matthew Good Band album on there. There is rarely a song by them that I dislike. It's impossible to choose witch one is better, so I'll say it's one of these: Beautiful Midnight, Underdogs or Last of the Ghetto Astronauts.
