has anyone ever heard a song by Europe (band's still going, apparently) other than The Final Countdown? is it worth getting one of
their 10,000,000,000 albums?
One of my stalkers forced me to listen to 'The Final Countdown' telling me it was "the best fucking song you'll ever
hear"...and surely enough, it was not.
It's not that bad though.
Just too..umm..not my thing.
The final comment I'll make about the jam is that yes, there were people smoking, and not just cigs, but weed as well, and I'm allergic to
weed, sooo since smoke rises I had to sit down for part of it.
Then again, its expected at an Ill Scarlett show. There hasn't been one time I've heard them play when there isn't at least one
person smoking it.
Maybe it was just me, but there didn't seem to be that many people smoking..at least not around where I was standing/sitting..
It was fun though.
A show is never a show without 'Rally' and 'Mary Jane'.
you won't let me down...

On a musical forum I'm a part of, forum members occasionally write songs together as a group and see what we can come up with. It's quite
fun and it's cool to see a piece start from nothing and evolve and see it change with each persons style. I never contributed to any of them
except this latest one (the 7th). I submitted an idea and people dug it and started adding on it. It was just finished and submitted and it's
got alot of nice things said about it so far. I only added to the first minute of it, but I'm proud of the outcome. I dunno why I'm
posting this, probably cause I just looked at it http://www.powertabs.net/pta.php?page=song,18779 and was amazed at the reviews, as it's
extremely rare to see straight 5's on that site.

I haven't heard anything else by them. It was funny though, mere hours after I read that post I watched a show where apparantly The Final
Countdown had been number 38 or something on a top 100 worst songs, can't remember which publication, but I found it funny, especially since I
don't mind the song that much.
As far as other stuff goes I haven't heard any, and am not game (I once tried that, listening to more stuff released by a One Hit Wonder, Reef
to be exact, and it was really noticable how badly that guy sings).
Reivax: I haven't seen the tab because I don't have PowerTAB, but I'll check it out at some stage, I did read the comments though,
people seem pretty impressed.

Tis a stellar song you guys all colaborated to write, nice work.
The Final Countdown is a beauty song, you're just not hip enough, clearly. It's a decent 'pump up song', I suppose.
one last show.

No, I don't. I'll just attach the mp3 here. It wont be the same, because you can't see all the different parts and know contributed
to each.
I basically did about the first 55 seconds of rhythm guitar. Right before the piano comes in. Someone else puts another guitar over my parts to make
it a little fuller, though. Then about 5 or 6 other people did the rest of the song.

Since this is the "say whatever the hell you want" thread, I'll make one of those announcements that nobody pays attention to.
Last night I went to pick up Westpoint's new album, and saw that my name had been put in their Thank You list.
What's super-fantastic is the fact that I'm right in between two of my favorite people...
Scott Komer (singer for Pettit and producer for bands like Boys Night Out and Closet Monster) and our very own Bart Nagel.
Hooray!
you won't let me down...

I'm lost.
I just saw Rob H at a Westpoint show not too long ago...he's still the same awesome guy.
He posts a lot more on the Westpoint forums, but I'm sure he still checks out these boards too.
Thanks, Ian. I'm quite proud of myself as well, in the most modest way possible.
and Sin, I somehow laughed when reading your post. I don't know what it was about it...but it happened.
