Progress" by the Lostprophets. it is incredable! they are my 3rd favorite band, and it is one of my favorite cds ever.
oh yeah, and i hate shoping... unless it's for bike stuff, books or music.
and dez, it's not the clothes that are sexy, but it's what's no the inside.

I went to future shop today to try and buy stuff and it was hell on earth. No one could even walk it was so packed. Everything was sold out. I wanted
to get some DVD's, but nothing good was in. I was able to get Final Fantasy 10 and Kindom hearts, which I have wanted for a long time.

Hey, Jeff, I just noticed your post on the finger eleven board about the singer. That particular board is a lost cause. They only get a couple posts a
day now. It's odd, because 3 and a half years ago when I was an insane member there, there was a post nearly every 30 seconds. This is a sort of
a useless post, I know, but maybe you should post on the billy talent board because it is quite booming and a good amount of the people there are
locals.

I'm teaching him how to do so now. He's learning with some basic beats and some White Stripes stuff. Chris does it make a difference
wheter the tabs are x or o???? I'm thinking that they are their just so you don't get the different lines confused. Am I right, does it go
kinda like this?
Cr = crash cymbals (which is up to you)
X = strike/accented
x = normal hit
# = choke/hit then hold
Sp = splash cymbal(s)
as with crash
HH = hi-hat
x = closed/'ajar'
X = open/loose (washy)
# = choke/hit then close/stop
Sn = snare drum
o = normal hit
Tm = tom-tom (middle)
o = normal hit
Fl = floor tom
[n/a]
Bd = bass drum
o = kick/hit

ok. i don't use tabs much as they are usually wrong (much like guitar tabs) and/or tabbed out by a cretin. however, i am sympathetic to your
cause, and have found you a
guide. hope it helps.
my advice is to learn how to read proper drum charts, as they are far more useful. also, i would suggest getting a beginner's drum book, such as
Rod Morgenstein's The Drumset Musician. It has a nice selection of play-along tracks and a variety of grooves that should keep him going
for awhile.

i went shopping on boxing day.... but not boxing day shopping, I went downtown, and left my house at 7..... but only cause i had to take public
transport.... i spent the day wandering toronto, it was fun..... when i came home the mall was packed.... my bus transferred at square one, and i went
inside to get a drink, and as a result of dodging people and waiting in line i missed my bus. Erin mills wasn't that bad, but then again by the
time i got there half of the stores were closed.

it's the longest official word (found in only the largest, most extensive dictionaries) that is some sort of disease caused by the inhalation
(is that a word?) of volcanic smoke. (Im sure that there are longer medical terms, but it is the longest word found in a dictionary)
my favorite long word though is: antidisistablishmentarianism (against the destruction {or disastablishment} of churches)
im done.
no, im not. ^that one is may favorite long word, but im not saying that i have any opinion on it's meaning. im personally not religius at all.
hell, i cant even spell religeous!
shit i spelled it wrong again!

Shitty. My kitty died last christmas, too. What's with that? Ours was too tiny and was taken from her Mother too early. If we babied her better,
she probably could have lived.

My cat died fighting with some other cat over a female cat, literally...
My cat was really messed up,he'd only use our home to eat and catch a short nap, then he'd go out and fight with cats and destroy
things

LMAO(really laughs) Ah bart and chris should make a posting tag team match, that was "blatantly and absoloutely halarious". But anyways, I
don't like cats- their ugly and annoying. However, my dog does look like a cat. It's sad, but true! It's true, it's damn true.

i just looked through that drum tab stuff again, seems quite comprehensive. although i seriously suggest he learn how to read sheet music - probably
one of the most useful skills at any musician's disposal.

Alright thanks for the tips Chris. He's getting lessons soon by some guy. I'll make sure that we pick up a book or something like that for
him and that he forgets tablature. Thanks again.

He shouldn't forget tablature. If he knows both he could have that much more of an advantage. It is always better to know more.
(Okay, okay... I'm sure some of you wiseasses could think of a time when it's NOT better to know more... but it's a good
generalization)
