That sounds really good, getting past the fact that it's a midi of course. Musically it sounds good. Are you writing a song or something?

It's funny. I honestly just wanted to host it on here for a sec, because it always sounds different when I host a midi on here. It sounds weird
hosted on here this time. Most times, it sounds significantly better. I really wasn't expecting people to listen. But thanks if you did.
And, Sin, I'm writing a song for the powertab website. They are constantly having competitions with other users, and this particular competition
is a tag team one. I'm paired up with a partner and we have a given time to write a song together. So far, my partner hasn't done
anything. He only plays bass, so I have to write all the guitar stuff. What's there is about 70% complete. It needs another part and certain
transitions need to be worked on and such. Thanks for saying it sounds good. I've only got 3 more days to finish it, so I've gotta get it
done.

There's piano in there too, right? If I remember from my listen it sounded like there was piano. And I understand about the transitions thing
(again going off the once I listened to it about 8 hours ago) it sounded a bit... sketchy I guess, for lack of a better word.I'm going to listen
to it again when I get back from the video store and have a better listen.

Well since you're taking an interest in the song, Sin, I'll break it down for you. I've first got that little intro riff, that is
all on it's own. I'm hoping when the guy adds bass it will spice it up a little. Unfortunately, since distortion sounds like ass on midi,
I've had to keep it a clean tone. The riff actually sounds quite a bit better. Also, a palm mute sound does not work on this thing and the intro
is half muted. It does actually sounds pretty cool with an actual guitar.
Then there is the first transition to the next part. I actually really like it. I wont be changing that transition. The simple little lick over top of
the rhythm is perhaps the "piano" part you speak of. It sounds terrible on this particular midi, but it does sound better on powertab.
It's just a clean tone guitar, though. Most of the song is clean guitar. No piano.
After that part I transition (rather poorly) back into that main intro theme. Only, I change it a little and add a heavier rhythm in the back and also
a slow clean part played over top of it. It's a bit much having 3 things being played, but it's not too unrealistic. I'm still
working on a cooler transition into that part.
Then the next part has a terrible transition. It goes back into that chorus part with the slow, simple lead over top. Though, since I don't want
it to be too repetitive, I change the lead theme after the second go to something alot more complex. I just did that last night and I like it alot.
The next part after that is majorly incomplete. It transitions well as it is, but it needs a cool rhythm in the back. I have a particular 9 chord
progression that I want to put there, but I've still yet to find a way to play it so it sounds good.
Well, that's it for now. Sorry to bore anyone who's read this.

Also, I notice that it sounds like certain notes are being completely thrown out of pitch. That's because I have alot of vibrato in the song and
most midi seems to not like that effect.

What happened to the grocery store?
That's pretty sweet, though. Assuming he pays you pretty well. It's gotta be nice to work at home.
On another note, I think the smilie should now be :jorge:, because you use it in 99% of your posts. And also the needs to become
:mark:...for the same reason.

Ok, ok I might have been a bit out of line there, but I just love it how other people jump to conclusions about me (not really). I am sorry if I was a
little too harsh there.

I don't recall anyone saying anything like that about you, but if you're just speaking in general then that's understandable.

yeah, i though it was pretty funny too. mostly because i was with a large group of people when my friend told it to me, and it took some people like
15 minutes to get it. "Why would she choke when she got to the ballroom?" and such. PIS, sorry. it's self explanitory.

I like the second chorus, probably because I like change in songs. Thje only section that sounds really off to me is the end (where it stops, then
starts again, then stops), but that'd be fixed up with other instruments I'm guessing.

No way is it self explanitory. There's not even a punch line or a hook...Nothing. Just an akward question that I don't understand. Infact,
I believe we should make this question rhetorical...with an explanation of course.

Yeah, don't worry about that, man. That part isn't even remotely done. It's just a short progression I threw down quickly incase I
wanted to use those chords. It doesn't even have a rhythm set to it. It's just a bunch of 8th notes. I have a feeling I wont be using
those chords, though. I had something else that I was going for, but have been having trouble making it sound how I want. Either way, thanks for
feedback. I appreciate it.
