yeah, i had to double check the spelling on that one. ha.

i know that this new smiley face is cool and all, but people seem to take every excuse to use it now, and sometimes they put it in places were it doesnt even make sense.

by all means use, but please dont abuse.

Ok, I feel like doing a little rant. It is about my new job that is keeping me away from all you lovely people. What I am doing is counting inventory...today will only be my fourth shift, but I am already highly disliking it. Yesterday, for instance, I woke up just before 6 a.m. and to get picked up at 6:15 a.m. We drove to Oakville place to The Bay. There were in total about 50 people ready to count. Now, I assumed that we take something as big as The Bay and section it out throughout a few days...but no, we counted every single item in the entire fucking store...all the way down to the little tiny things on the counters. We weren't done until after 6p.m., then we gathered on the bus and drove home, then I walked halfway home before I could find a phone to get a ride. So all in all my one work day was nearly 14 hours. And almost every day will be like this. I only get about 3 or 4 days off this month and I work 9 shifts in my first week (2 double shifts and no days off). Wicked, eh? Luckily I get the 16th off for the livid. Lucky me. And at least I don't have to work 17 days in a row like one of the guys I was working with.

I'd like to say, at least I will get decent pay checks, but I only get $8 dollars an hour.

Well, it's only temporary and I need money. I'm really fine with this. I will get used to it. I don't want to sound like a bitch, I just wanted to tell anyone who might want to know what I have been doing.

welcome to stock-taking. even huge multi-national corporations, like the shoe company Clarks (for whom i was working last year), stock takes by hand. there were around 3 million pairs of shoes to be counted in the warehouse where i was working. that's one warehouse. it's not a lot of fun, as i'm sure reivax will tell you.

someone help me quick! how do you say "the hooker was dead long before i got here" in spanish?

Amid the chaos of that day, when all I could hear was the thunder of gunshots, and all I could smell was the violence in the air, I look back and am amazed that my thoughts were so clear and true, that three words went through my mind endlessly, repeating themselves like a broken record: you're so cool, you're so cool, you're so cool. And sometimes Clarence asks me what I would have done if he had died, if that bullet had been two inches more to the left. To this, I always smile, as if I'm not going to satisfy him with a response. But I always do. I tell him of how I would want to die, but that the anguish and the want of death would fade like the stars at dawn, and that things would be much as they are now. Perhaps. Except maybe I wouldn't have named our son Elvis.

....I don't get it. I hate it when ppl try to make other ppl's jokes funny. There just not funny.

Chris(Reivax) man, thats a damn sucky job brother. Make sure you keep track of the hours you worked. B/c there is a law that states that if you work a certain time, you must recieve a certain amount of hours off. I think.

So if they exceed that, sue them. Sue them again. And possibly again. Then you won't have to work for ever.

one last show.

You'll spend way too much money trying to sue them. If you have a problem you should contact Health and Labour Board or Health and Safety Board (I think that's what it's called). And Chris (Reviax)...check your PMs.

ha ha ha

well on the topic of jobs, I got a great phone call today from my work. I was working there only for christmas but since I'm so amazingly good they want to keep me there on weekends and such. It's good pay and the people there are actually nice. I'm happy I have a steady money supply. So ya, mmmm...more dead cows.
btw, SHOP DANIER!

I am going to check my PM's in a sec.

Chris, I actually signed something that said it's okay to do overtime. There will be days where I will work a 12 hour shift then go home for, say, 3 hours and do it all over again. I need the money, so I really can't complain. I am getting used to it already. It was just a shock to my system when I realized how crazy it actually is. Tomorrow I work at Toys 'r' us, and if it goes well I think I will be okay.

Plus I haven't really worked for about 2 and a half months and it gets hard to get used to working again. Especially at a job like this
