Why don't you stop for a minute amidst your rambling and consider that The Livid don't have thousands of dollars to spend on a video.
So what if the video is pretty plain? As far as band's first videos go it's a hell of a lot better than most of us thought it would be.
And it's amateur.

was well done for an amateur video, and I'm sure that I'm not the only person who wants to kick your ass after reading your post.

think that they influence The Livid a little too much in 'certain songs' anyways, it's always good to see such strong support for a
local band like this. I don't know why you're getting all pissed off at me, I'm just speaking my mind, and I think I have a right to
be dissapointed with this video. If you're getting this pissed off just because I'm the only one that can be an honest critic here instead
of a fanboy blinded by the fact that these guys live nearby me, then I'd hate to see what would happen if the livid were bashed on a radio
station or on television. Judging by your anger and hatred towards me for simply saying that I don't like the video instead of saying that the
"VIDEO ROCKS" and followed the crowd without deciding how much I like something on my own and letting others do it for me, I can only
imagine that your reaction to a real critic would involve some sort of home made bomb.
I commend the drummer and the bassist as they were the only two in the video who actually didn't look like weirdos, and who actually looked like
they knew what they were doing (and they didn't even get that much focus on the video, I mean come on, is the band called 'the
livid', or is it called 'the justin chris and two other guys band'?). Not playing tapping leads in the middle of a chorus (sorry,
but I didn't hear any lead being played during that part of the song) or doing an irish dance when they had nothing to do (Here's a
thought, when the singer isn't singing, don't point at him, focus on the instruments). But once again, I'll probably get bashed for
being honest. As for it being my time to leave, I'll let the moderators decide that. I don't think I've violated any rules, I simply
spoke my mind.
Oh, and it's always good to see how intelligent board members are by seeing how creative they can get by bashing someone's name.
Hoobafingbus = Hoobastank, Finger 11, and Incubus. If you don't know why then I'm not wasting my time explaining it. And anyways you
should be glad that there's a fan who's not afraid to express what he really thinks about a band he follows. Trust me, it's better
for the band to know their faults instead of letting them get worse.

I'm sorry but I fail to see the incongruousness of my posts and fail to see how the last statement in your post has anything to do with the main

tone, that was the exact purpose of it. I'm a dissapointed fan. And I was venting out my frustrations as I feel I have the right to do
considering all my expectations for this 'video' were thrown into the toilet.

My point of view is that criticisim in any form should be considered constructive, and if anything it should drive $64 to create something of some
substance in their next effort so as to please the hard to please. Those like myself.
I'm not the only one 'bitching' about the production here either pal. Adidas had his two cents about the lack of camera angle
variety. Funny though, don't see anyone bashing him. And I severely doubt if he has anyone from this board messaging him telling him to

Alright... sorry for the long post... but obviously this guy doesn't understand the music business. Many indie bands... unsigned bands... come
off with their first video with just them playing live at one of their shows. Honestly... I didn't think the video was great... but then again I
hate music video's. They made one for the fans here... not to be on Much!... and they made it with $64... u expect MTV quality... ure not gonna
have a camera crew and everyone else out there for hours trying to make it completly perfect for $64... most of the people here support the band and
aren't gonna say it sucked or hated it... because u seem to be the only one...
When u try to shoot ure first music video... tell us how it turned out... see how much money u'll have available... how much equipment... and
all that shit...

just wanted to point out that the Red Hot Chili Peppers influenced Incubus a lot early on, and that the RHCP themselves were clearly influenced by the
bands of their time.
