Wicked, I'm so glad you bought a CD Dez! And I'm pleased that so many of you are enjoying the bootlegs. I just can't believe how
many critical comments have been made with regard to the quality.

Rob, I actually listen to them quite a bit and I didn't think I would at first because of the quality. I initially just planned on listening to
them every once in a while for fun. But I burned it onto a CD and I listened to it so much on drives to and from work that it sounds normal to me.
With the exception of "reckless", I never notice the raw bootleg sound anymore..at all.

How retarded of me to not realize that, especially since I am an occasional visitor of that board. I guess all I can think about is the movie when I
hear those 2 letters.

i wasn't criticising your recording technique allison, as it's impossible to get a good recording without all sorts of equipment. clipping
is when the sound level goes above zero decibels - that's when you start to get distortion.

Thanks for the definintion! I didn't realize that phenomenon had a name.
I understand that you guys aren't criticizing my recording abilities per se, I guess I'm just surprised that everyone is so disappointed
with the quality. I've been involved in bootleg trading for years and understand that amateur recordings aren't supposed to sound perfect.
I never have high expectations when I download live recordings and I didn't expect others to be picky about mine. It's weird, that's
all.

I am really sorry if I sounded overly critical, Allison, since that was not my intention. I really don't listen to that many bootlegs, and one
of the ones I do listen to happens to be absolutely phenomenal, so I guess my expectations are somewhat scewed. Your recordings certainly do not sound
bad.

Sorry, these bootlegs are unacceptable. I only listen to bootlegs that sound better than CD quality.

Waaa, I've not been in this forum a couple of days and saw this thread just today ... it took about 1 1/2 hours to download all the song, but it
was more than worst the time ... the quality is not the best, but the the songs itselfs are awesome (espacially At the Seams )
Thanx to the one who did the recording...
