yep we had more than 64 bucks to make it but not much more... we were gonna rent a helicopter and bring in a 40 person crew. then we thought that we
might get kevin bacon to be in the video co-starring tyra banks but we decided to pay for lunchs for the band and "volunteer crew"
instead.
next time we will say screw eating, get the helly instead... thank you... i leaned my lesson.

I deeply apologise Hoobafingbus, I was not really that angry at you, and i am not a "Blinded Fan" I was simply really, really pissed off
at a friend, and I ended up venting all of my anger on you. Again Really Sorry!
But one thing is that i am not from anywhere near the band, in fact i havent even been to a show, but nextime i go to "Canadia" I will.

I commend the drummer and the bassist as they were the only two in the video who actually didn't look like weirdos, and who actually looked like
they knew what they were doing (and they didn't even get that much focus on the video, I mean come on, is the band called 'the
livid', or is it called 'the justin chris and two other guys band'?).
I can't agree with this point. I was a little bit bored today and counted the shots on every member in the video (I know, that is sick)
Justin: 48 (I counted the shots with Adams feet as Justin only)
Chris: 22
Christian: 2
Adam: 19
All: 34
Chris/Justin: 3
Chris/Christian: 1
Chris/Adam: 7
Justin/Adam: 17
Justin/Christian: 3
Adam/Christian: 11
Chris/Justin/Christian: 16
Chris/Justin/Adam: 2
Chris/Adam/Christian: 4
Justin/Adam/Chris: 13
And all in all that's:
Justin: 136
Chris: 102
Christian: 60
Adam: 107
So, it's the Justin/Chris/Adam and the other guy with the bass band (just jokin'
Anyway the video isn't the best one ever, but it's a 'The Livid' video and so I like it, no matter who crappy it would
be (what it isn't ... if you know what I mean)

Ha ha ha, that is absolutely brilliant! cudos to you xlivid....
Now on a more serious note, I dont understand why people seem to have such a problem with this video? Personally I think its great...and no
hoobastankbusfing guy not because i am a blinded fan boy.....and no not because they are a local band.....who gives a shit if they are from
missisaugua or the damn moon, but i enjoy the video because it shows you what u get when u see a livid show, killer stage presence and just a wicked
show.
Why does everybody seem to think there must be a long drawn out story to go along with a music video?? is this rock music or the damn opera?
Perhaps its just me.... i think the video was great with or with out a big budget i truely enjoyed it and to those who feel the need to bash what in
my opinion is a great effort, i say
Keep up the good work boys, and if every video you do is exactly the same thats cool by me!

Also, to kind of add to 3 Chamered Heart's post.. the video IS REALLY THEM! They're not pretending to be anyone else, or any other band..
they were simply The Livid.

I had a look through and at no point does Chris play tapping lead or whatever the guy said. And I didn't find one spot where they were playing
out of sync with the music. There was, however, one place where Christian plays slightly differently to the recorded song.

this?

Considering it is an indie video, the video is phenomenal. My buddie's band just made a video as well. They did it for $250 and they're
being played on MuchLOUD (believe it or not). I don't think they're very good, but you can check out how far $250 can go through the
media section of their site at http://www.silent-treatment.com
Just be advised that if you don't like metal, turn down your speakers.
----
As for the Livid's video, I think it is great simply by the fact that the song is phenomenal. But I do agree that bassist's need more
time in the light.

(For music videos in general) - In a perfect world, all of the band members would get about the same amount of shots, but non-musicians, and
non-hardcore-fans seem to have pushed singers and lead guitarists into the spotlight, and they tend to get bored of just watching the drummer and
especially the bassist. I know. tis very sad. Adam and Christian- you guys ROCK!
ok im done.

I agree.
I really don't like their music in the least, but I can bet that those crazies at LOUD will think they're phenomenal.

I finally saw the video....thrice in a row...just to, you know....take it aaall in...(Okay, I'll stop there)
I thought it was AWESOME, Chris, awesome job directing it...
How much sunblock did you all have to wear hahahaha..
I was just in Toronto yesterday (had to go to HSC) and walked around for a bit...Obviously, I did my usual routine..visit the BCE place *THELIVID
promo pic was taken there* and then went to the Montreal Bank building (I believe that was the building that was used...because I think Chris told me
"the tallest"..so geographically I'm guessin that was it)
Yay, it was fun day for me.

Finally, after all these months, i was able to see the video... i figured out that i had to delete a bunch of programs and prefreces, and then
re-install the update versions... anyway, i though it was great! although i am not really into preformace music videos, i think that it is an
excelent first video, for sure. a bit of digital color grading would have made it look really pro, but i understand that they had a very small budget,
so they did the best they could. i hope that the next one that they make will be a bit more elaborate; maybe not a preformance, more like the original
idea for this vid... btw which member won the role in the vid?
