i think those inlays are good simply because it makes the guitar look less like a strat. the body's more spiky than a strat which is good too.
there are way too many strats. coming soon: photos of my new guitar. i've taken them, i just don't have the camera's lead at the
moment...

My guitar has inlays at the top except they're so small you can't see them unless you're really close to me while I'm playing.
I think it looks really sharp.
I don't like the look of Gibson Les Pauls or the lower end Epiphones that have huge white bars for inlays.
