missy elliot took the beat [backing instrumentals] from a song called "superstar pt. 0" by the canadian artist K-os, for use in her new video.

sorry, after reading it i realized that i through in enough side-thoughts amongst the important ones to make it incoherant.

Amid the chaos of that day, when all I could hear was the thunder of gunshots, and all I could smell was the violence in the air, I look back and am amazed that my thoughts were so clear and true, that three words went through my mind endlessly, repeating themselves like a broken record: you're so cool, you're so cool, you're so cool. And sometimes Clarence asks me what I would have done if he had died, if that bullet had been two inches more to the left. To this, I always smile, as if I'm not going to satisfy him with a response. But I always do. I tell him of how I would want to die, but that the anguish and the want of death would fade like the stars at dawn, and that things would be much as they are now. Perhaps. Except maybe I wouldn't have named our son Elvis.

yeah i like missy too. I watched the new video yesterday too, and I knew that beat sounded familiar. Thanks for pointing it out dobs. I'm just not sure whether canada is becoming more known or if she just took it. I think it has got to be the first one, i don't really think of missy just taking a beat, she has billions probably in her head.

Even *I* finally decided to delete some PMs...
My inbox is flooded by messages from Reivax and Dobs haha..and three new ones from PIS, whattttttt.

Here's a tip for everyone, (It sure helped me tons)
Open a word document and copy and paste your favourite PM messages onto it...and save it...keep a doc just for that, then you can empty your inbox and still have a record of those PMs.

you won't let me down...

The night's as hot as hell. It's a lousy room in a lousy part of a lousy town - I'm staring at a goddess. She's telling me she wants me. I'm not going to waste one more minute wondering how I've gotten this lucky. She smells like angels ought to smell, the perfect woman... the Goddess. Goldie. She says her name is Goldie.

My guess is that Krista is probably just really busy. My guess is, judging from her job title, that she doesn't have too much free time.

Where the fuck is my PM from PIS? I want one. Meh...it's not a big deal.

Rob, I highly recommend. I really love it. If you go to anti-industry.com, nearly all their songs are available for download. The songs on their newer album that is on that site that I really like are tracks 2,3, 5,6,10 and 11. I recommend listening to track 5 first. It's called "so many dragons". I guess they recorded this album in Cali. when they were signed to a big label, but they broke up before it was released. I could be wrong about my facts, but it's something along those lines. Really, really good listening. Go to the "board index" and their is a Left Pencey appreciation thread with all these songs.

On another note, I am supposed to be at work right now, but they didn't pick me up. Now I'm all worried that they are going to be pissed at me. Your amount of hours you get depends on tardiness, attitude and abilities at counting. If this fucks me over for hours, I'll be pissed. I called and left a message saying I needed to be picked up, but they didn't show. They have always picked me up if the meet time is before 6:15, because the buses don't run yet and I can't get to the office. I don't know why this day was any different. I guess I'll wait for a phone call to see.

PM quota increased by 5. Weak increase, I know, but that's all I'm giving you for now. Maybe I should write some code so your quota is proportional to your post count...

okay i'm saying what I want.

I have been feeling sick since monday, with a cold. All that sneezing and stuffy noseing. So this wednesday I get the sinus congestion and all that lovely stuff. Today I go to the doctors and gives me some medicin that I am allergic too. He says oh we will try it out because you haven't had it for a while. It is the same stuff my mom had on our Newfoundland trip which made her puke her guts out. So I take this medicine about 30 minutes ago and I am already feeling it. And of course I will spare you the gross details but you know what happened. Now I feel like crap and my head is going to explode. And I'm going to be too busy with my head over the toilet too watch friends. Oh and not mentioning the amount of school I have missed.

THIS WEEK BLOWS!

that was a tad ventive but to bad for whoever invented this thread
