Cat in the Hat wasn't as good as I thought it would be. In the real story you don't see the mom do you?

Well, they had to change the book alot to be able to make it into a feature film. Not so much change it, but give it some sort of plot.

I fell asleep halfway through it, so I'm going to watch the rest soon. I thought it was ok. I know most people didn't like it. One part really made me laugh though, and that was the whole infomercial part where he's got the multi-coloured sweater and blonde wig on. Very funny.

I saw Brother Bear last weekend. It was so good. I cried three times.

The night's as hot as hell. It's a lousy room in a lousy part of a lousy town - I'm staring at a goddess. She's telling me she wants me. I'm not going to waste one more minute wondering how I've gotten this lucky. She smells like angels ought to smell, the perfect woman... the Goddess. Goldie. She says her name is Goldie.

I'd only be liable to watch Cat In The Hat if the entire movie was set up as a rhyme, if that's not the case though, then it's simply NOT Dr Seuss and the filmmakers should all be ashamed of tarnishing such a brilliant writers work.

I didn't cry watching Brother Bear, but I didn't enjoy it either. I love cartoons but I don't know this one just didn't do it for me. I do have to admit that Joel was right...as hard as that is to admit ha ha He warned me about the movie

I was rummaging through some drawers last night and found some interesting things. I love going around this house and opening up a closet or drawer and seeing what I can find. I tend to find interesting things from my youth here, seeing as I grew up in this house.

Annnnyway, I found a bunch of old magazines from up to 10 years ago, some old game boy games (tiny toons and zelda: links awakening), a really old christian sampler CD that was never opened that has a song by Switchfoot on it (and I listened, it is them) and The Livid's King of the castle. I put the CD in and listened to it twice while I read my old magazines. Then I played some tiny toons for a few minutes before I went to bed. I played that game so damn much what I really young.

Man, I just sat here for the last hour or so reading some older threads that I have never seen before. I gotta say, I nearly died of laughter reading a couple of them.
JeffK's thread about cybersex was just too fucking funny. If no one else was in the room with me I would have been laughing even harder. And then I read all the maddox stuff. I didn't even know who this guy was, but his page is brilliant. I especially enjoyed the ones about the children's drawings.

lol it's her extra ticket, so she'd still be going to see Rufio. Oh and thanks so much, Amanda. Not only do I get to see a better show, but I don't have to deal with that creepy kid ever again. Hooray!
