requesting mirrors

like we did this time last year, we're having a bit of a bandwidth crisis.
we used over 4 gigabytes in the last 3 days. we have 10 to last us each month and we've almost run out.
so i'm looking for people with webspace willing to donate some bandwidth. we don't want you to have to pay for anything so if you have one of those crazy infinite bandwidth things that would be lovely. all mirrors would store the 512kbps videos, and also higher quality ones which i'm looking into including, and then every time someone downloads a video all the sites storing them take turns to serve.

we could use 100mb space if you're willing to give it, but anything over 15mb is great.

make sense?
PM me or post here if you are willing to help out.
thanks a lot

Hey,

I have the answer to your problems!

http://www.unshadowed.com and http://www.unshadowed.net

Free domain hosting for bands and anything associated with music. Obviously you already have domain hosting else where, but you can register a basic non-domain acount and host your files there. I'm pretty certain that's not against the rules, but just in case, contact Jorel the owner personally.

Hope this helps!

they're only offering 5mb on their regular one and 50mb on their domain one, and also this:
quotation:
We DO NOT provide service to individuals who:
-need space for their personal site
-need image hosting (example: for a blog site, even for a band blog site)
-just want hosting so they can host media files
-need hosting so they can "hotlink" our site for the images or media files

We simply cannot afford to do so.

no good... thanks anyway though.

I ordered both CDs and a shirt I'd like a copy of the new album now too :/ Maybe the lateness of my order combining with me helping with a mirror could warrant a copy of the new album to be shipped with my order?

well that'd depend how long you're willing to mirror how much space for.

it's all sorted now, the video downloads from belated's site a certain proportion of clicks, and from my uni the rest of them. will come from thelivid.com from the start of next month too. still interested in anyone else willing to help out.
