The only thing I can think of that could have spawned such a horrid form of music is maybe the For Dummies guys made a book for all the retards out
there who can't actually figure music out on their own (and still couldn't after reading the book but saw pictures of guitars and drums
and such which gave them an idea of what makes music). So they buy the book, see a picture of a guitar and think "hmmm, maybe if I buy that and
play it really, really hard and really, really fast I'll sound like Joe Satriani". So they do, and out comes this mish mash of sounds that
people like to call Pop Punk.
As far as the clothing goes, I'm lucky enough that the people I know aren't stupid and don't think their legs are beer cans.

leg warmers are quite useful. unfortunately nobody actually wears them for their utilitarian purposes. like if you are biking and it's 3° C
out, you would be happy to have them.

call me crazy...but I just wear pants when its cold outside
and on top of that, I'm more worried about my ears falling off due to frostbite or something rather than my legs. there is a lot more blood
running through my legs than in my ears so legs aren't usually the first thing to go...
