although it seems to be under construction, the site generally looks great. however, do you really have to have that annoying static noise everytime
you open a new page? and your biography is kind of... well... cheesy and cliched, for example, "Spinstill sets out to breathe a fresh yet
familiar new life into the mainstream music scene."
on your "band" page, justin sousa's name uses a larger font size than everyone else's. i guess it's because he's
the drummer, and therefore is the most important.
your "newsletter" and "press" links don't go anywhere.
how do you order the ep? or is that still to be added?
which band member is which? what about having obvious (labelled) pictures of the members?
but yeah, good effort. i don't know what your last site was like, but this one looks pretty professional. flash isn't overdone, decent
amount of content (well, after the "coming soon" bits are filled in) and, most importantly, sound clips that WORK.

It looks great. And the cd isnt even out yet come on read the site "We are currently writing 5 or 6 new songs as well as planning the release
party." The site is wayyy better than the old one. I liked the intro of the old one but it was too long. Maybe there should be a bio on each
member of the band with a pic to go with it.

yeah i agree with the others, it looks great. the code says the layout was sorted out in imageready using slices. did you make all the graphics in
this too, or in something else?
you might think about using layers for the content areas - if you set "overflow: scroll;" they'll scroll if you need them to. you
can position them wherever you want, and they can go on top of anything else. this avoids the problem with using tables for layout which causes cells
to stretch sometimes when you don't want them to.
should have a proper title!
some of the other red boxes are where a cell somewhere has been stretched, and it's left empty spaces, and the background of the stretched cell
is repeating.
also, like the drummer chris mentioned, number 5 on that list of sound clips is a different font/size. also in the right panel you're using
different fonts - generally you're using tahoma, and then the titles and some other bits are in times. i guess you'll get round to this.
your css styles are a little weird, which explains the fonts. for instance on the music page you have the .txt style, which is used for "you can
hear full songs at:" and, strangely, the number "5." on the left panel. then .style1 is used for the other four songs.
i'd suggest using one stylesheet which is attached to all pages (using the <link> tag) and removing all <font> tags - anything you
can do with these you can do much more efficiently with css.
finally, get the rollover pictures to preload if possible. otherwise, the first time you roll over one of the links it takes a second or so to change.

i did read the site. i read this:
quotation:
Discography
SpinStill EP - 2004
Dark Lullaby
Make Me Believe
Yesterday Mourning
Only Emotion
Shapes (studio acoustic)
although i also saw mention of a "release party", having something down in your discography implies that it has already been finished, and
is quite possibly available.
ok?

I like the site, also looks like everyone here has some good constructive critism.
Just to go back to the biography, I would suggest removing that cliche phrase at the end as Chris pointed out. Also, add length by adding a bit about
the band's history, accomplishments, radio play, special past gigs, tours, venues played, etc.

Yo, first time I listened to your stuff and I was quite impressed, the vocals reminded me of a band called Something For Kate (not exactly the same,
but similar) and yeah, I liked it. I'd love to hear more of your tracks someday.
