Awesome!
Ran across The Livid on AudioStreet.net.
This is good stuff!
It never ceases to amaze me how many great bands there are.
Radio stations should do a better job of searching out great bands and giving them their due.
I'm not in the music or broadcasting business but it seems like, instead of giving the listeners what they truely want to hear, marketing,
gimmicks and kissin' someone's arse is the order of the day.
We still have a couple of radio stations here in Detroit that put on some good rock, but bands didn't stop makin' great stuff after the
mid 80's.
I love music. I have a great deal of respect and admiration for those who bust their butt day after day, practicing hour after hour. On one hand,
most musicians do what they do 'cause they love it. But it would be nice if some of the people who control what we hear on the radio put
politics and big money aside and also do what they do out of the love of music and great talent.
Off to get me a couple of CDs and a T.

It's not so much about radio stations searching out new music. It's about labels not being willing to take chances on new bands.
Furthermore, it's about labels not giving kickass bands adequate promotional budgets.
Anyway, nice to have you on the forums. Stick around and chat a bit.
