web test
can you all please take a look at http://www.edithwiens.com
i got a message today saying that someone in canada who is on rogers internet couldn't see any text on the site. i've tested it with the
latest internet explorer and mozilla browsers. i'm guessing that they're using some obscure and old browser, possibly one which comes with
the internet package, like AOL.
please try
1. viewing the biography. there should be a photo on the right, and a bunch of text.
2. changing the language to german. this can either be done on the entrance page (click "edith wiens" at the top to get back to it) or on
the setup page which can be accessed with the grey link at the bottom of the page.
if anything looks messed up please take a screenshot so i can see. let me know which browser you tried it with too.
just when i thought it was all good and finished it doesn't work for someone. damnit!
thanks

works just fine for me. looks good too. i mean of course, edith, that saucy minx.
Amid the chaos of that day, when all I could hear was the thunder of gunshots, and all I could smell was the violence in the air, I look back and am
amazed that my thoughts were so clear and true, that three words went through my mind endlessly, repeating themselves like a broken record:
you're so cool, you're so cool, you're so cool. And sometimes Clarence asks me what I would have done if he had died, if that bullet
had been two inches more to the left. To this, I always smile, as if I'm not going to satisfy him with a response. But I always do. I tell him
of how I would want to die, but that the anguish and the want of death would fade like the stars at dawn, and that things would be much as they are
now. Perhaps. Except maybe I wouldn't have named our son Elvis.

My world wide web literacy rate is so low that I still haven't figured out how to take a screenshot on this Imac, or maybe it just has to do
with the browser I'm using.
Anyway, when I go to biography, I can see the picture on the right, but no text. It's not until I highlight the spot where the text should be,
that it comes up. Apparently the font and the text are white, so they cancel each other out. That's how it comes up here,at least.
I'm on Rogers,too.

How do you communicate those emotions that are so intense that no physical expression or series of words can even scratch the surface?

The site works perfectly. I forgot that I put it in German, and then I said "WTF, mate?".
However, I would like to bring your attention to the following...
A) The guy on the bottom left looks a hell of a lot like Tie Domi(Toronto Maple Leaf right winger)!
....She's quite the MILF as well!
C) YEEE HAW!
one last show.

Everything looks fine on mine, except for the text..where the text should be there's a large white box next to and under the pic, and the text
is there, but it's also white. No, I'm pretty sure it's not Safari.

No clue...I tried sending them to you by e-mail as well, not sure if that worked or not.
Anyway, the site seems completely fine now. Everything looks the way it should.
However, at the bottom of the screen, this is what comes up.
"Warning: Unknown(): write failed: No space left on device (28) in Unknown on line 0
Warning: Unknown(): Failed to write session data (files). Please verify that the current setting of session.save_path is correct (/tmp) in Unknown on
