How do you communicate those emotions that are so intense that no physical expression or series of words can even scratch the surface?

The night's as hot as hell. It's a lousy room in a lousy part of a lousy town - I'm staring at a goddess. She's telling me she wants me. I'm not going to waste one more minute wondering how I've gotten this lucky. She smells like angels ought to smell, the perfect woman... the Goddess. Goldie. She says her name is Goldie.

Bankers learn to flirt:

They may be good at raking in loads of money, but lonely heart bankers in the area are going back to school to learn how to land a lover.

The community college in the area's financial and singles capital says its "Flirting, the art of seduction" course teaches people how to "express desire", send body signals and develop their own flirting style through role-playing.

The course instructor told the news agency she wanted to bring a little southern passion into the lives of bankers good with a spreadsheet, but bad with banter.

"People from the south are more open and quicker to smile or pass a compliment," she said.

"They are not exactly bursting with charm. I show them how they can ask questions and switch the conversation if the other person is nodding off."

The course, attended mainly by 20 to 30-year-olds, is one of the most popular offered by the college. And so far at least four of the students have found romance with classmates, a group that includes bankers and academics.

Germany or Florida?

Round Numero 6:

Man pays for full-page ad urging wife to return
A man paid approximately 17,000 dollars for a full-page newspaper ad imploring his wife to return, two weeks after she had left him.

"Life without you is empty and meaningless. Please, please call me," the man urged his wife in the ad, which uses only the couple's first names and shows a man in a traditional suit kneeling before a woman in a long, formal dress.

The publication said the lovelorn man paid approximately 17,000 dollars for the plea.

The paper, which received hundreds of queries about the ad, did not reveal the jilted husband's full name. But it said his wife left him two weeks ago and is now living with her parents.

The man told the paper he had sent his wife five dozen roses, to no avail. He then decided to run the ad "to show her how much she means to me. I want everyone to know that."

"I'm desperately trying to save our marriage," The man said.

He said a relative told him his wife cried when she saw the ad. But she did not call.

Germany or Florida?
