I like the original (LV). Can't stand the main dude on Miami (can't act for shit) and I haven't watched enough of New York (though I
do like Gary Sinise).

David Caruso and I don't like him either that's why I don't watch that one.

i've watched some sort of CSI a couple of times. i thought it was pretty good, but not something i'd sit down to watch every week.
especially since i don't have a tv at uni. i think they play two of the three on normal tv over here.

I'm with you peeps. I hate David Caruso and I hate Gary Sinense (hope I spelled that right). I'm all about CSI: Las Vegas. The show IS
formulaic in the way each episode is put together and progresses but it's still good. When you watch it you expect that kinda thing.

I think Las Vegas is so popular because it started the trend. And really, the other two don't add anything, they just copy the same style and
stick it in a different city. If the newer characters had different personalities to the Las Vegas cast they would be more enjoyable (although nothing
can save David Caruso since I doubt he could act any differently to that, he's like the Keanu Reeves of the small screen).

I bet CSI is one of those shows, where you have to watch it from the beginning to understand it. Damn those shows! The OC is also like that. DAMN
THEM!

Gary Sinense doesnt move his mouth when he talks. That pisses me off and his CSI show is too dark.
Greg, well Greg is hot.

Nope. Well, there is a small continuing storyline in Las Vegas involving Grissom's hearing, and the occasional recurring character, but in
general, each episode is a stand alone affair. It's not a Soap, it's a... drama, I guess.
I've always found it strange that 90% of Sitcoms actually share more common ground with Soaps than the notion of "Situational
Comedy", but that's a whole different topic.

bingo! yeah theres no continuing story line really. a few things here and there but thats just with the chatacters. like this person said, theres
something about Grissom's hearing, and a little thing about Sarah drinking. and Warrick used to gamble. nothing that has to do with the crime
scene investigating itself really

but yes it was an awesome espisode. my favorite episode though was when Greg got blown up. hes my favorite character in that show. for me there was
more suspence when greg got blown up because i really didnt want him dead and gone lol
