A Call to Fame
aight, so this one's for all tha actors in tha house.
i know we have a few here, Jorge, Sin, maybe Joel? and paige too i think...
so here you can discuss all of your achievements and mishaps on the stage.
a few questions:
1. list all of the parts you have played from past to present.
2. which of these was your favorite part?
3. which one did the audience seem to like the most (which one did you get the most praise for)?
4. why do you like to act
5. what's the craziest thing that happened during a performance?

My C.V is a bit lacking, but I have an hour to kill before uni so I'll participate.
I was in a couple of things as a kid but I can't remember them.
1.
Played a Star Trek nerd for a play on Bullying we devised in about yr 11 or so.
A butch New Zealand woman who is having problems with her sex life.
A gay guy.
An interviewer for a person requesting a job.
And most recently, a pupil.
2. New Zealand woman for sure.
3. Gay guy.
4. Not so sure any more.
5. Not much, about the only thing worth mentioning is during the whole butch woman thing, I had a bunch of rags stuffed and tied into makeshift boobs.
Well, during the first take the straps came undone, so they gradually started to fall, by the end of the final take I would have looked like a 60 year
old.

I think maybe you confused the BLANG BLANG name of G-Diddy, with the simplistic name of PIS....
I'll answer in a minute or two...

just made us do stupid things that 5 year olds would do. i'd love to act but what our school has is just brutal. i used to do church christmas
plays when i was little and i was even the star in a musical once but that stoped about 10

oh, i see. for some reason i thought that it was more recent, and that it was a serious performance that made her cry. lol.
ok so i'll give this a go. i've been in so many things, this could take a while:
1.
in 5th grade i was Agustus Gloop from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.
that summer i was the villan of Oliver named "Bill Syches".
in 6th grade i was in a scenes class and i was the guard in the famous "swollow scene" from monty python and the holy grail. "Well
what about an african swallow?..."
That same year, i was Philostrate, the king's advisor in the school play "A Midsummer Nights Dream"
The next year (7th grade) i was in a scene from "waiting for godot"... i was a bumbling idiot. and i was also annother bumbling idiot
named tom in a scene that my friend and i wrote, complete with a pirate song and dance. (dont ask why)
then i played Basil Faulty (a hotel owner originally played by John Cleese in Faulty Towers, a classic British tv show)
i was also a Russian Thug in Fiddler on the roof.
and i was a contestant on a gameshow with a gambling problem in a school movie.
in 9th grade i was the principal in The Breakfast Club... the whole "You mess with the bull, you get the horns!" bit.
and in the school play Man of La Mancha, i was the 'governor' of a prison during the time of the spanish inquisition who in turn played an
inkeeper in the play within the play. i was also a spanish inquisition soldier with really grotesque makeup.
i was also in 2 movies that year where i played the devil, and an amnesia victim who was blamed for killing his grandmother in a jouvenile correction
facility gone awry.
that summer i was in A Chorus Line where i played Paul, a gay spanish dancer wich was a pretty intense role. definately the most challenging that
i've done. it had like a 3-4 page monologue that contained a complete mental breakdown.
2. id say i had the most fun with my governer/inkeeper part in Man of La Mancha, as it was probably my biggest part (a leading role)
3. definately the gay spanish dancer. at the end of my monologue i had the whole room in tears... not bragging it's just the truth. i got so
many compliments that i got sick of hearing what a great job i did.
4. im not sure... i do ask tough questions, dont i?
5. the light switchboard overheated during a dress rehersal of man of la mancha and the whole room went pitch black during a fight scene... it was
kinda scary, cuase some people refused to stop throwing punches..

I'll fill this out when I'm not too lazy.
The night's as hot as hell. It's a lousy room in a lousy part of a lousy town - I'm staring at a goddess. She's telling me she
wants me. I'm not going to waste one more minute wondering how I've gotten this lucky. She smells like angels ought to smell, the perfect
woman... the Goddess. Goldie. She says her name is Goldie.
