General Livid Questions
i never seem to have the right place to post a question so lets do it here.
my questions is what's happening with KotC? i know they lost the artwork, and they are working on it so they can re-release it, but what's
taking so long?

it was fear of fading where the artwork was lost. actually, it was probably lost for king of the castle too. i had chris do some high quality scans of
the best condition fear of fading he could find, and i enhanced the results and remade the lyrics page. couldn't make the
"thankyous" page any better, unfortunately, and it turned out quite hard to read.
as for king of the castle, new artwork is wanted so it can be properly pressed. nothing's been decided on yet. i think the delay is probably due
to it being low on the list of things to do - demand is relatively low for this CD and getting money together to record new songs is more important.

good answer Bart.
i got one.... i dont know if anyone here can answer though.
is The Livid planning on playing in the U.S. anytime soon? just by playing a few shows in a closer state (like Michigan or New York maybe) the word of
The Livid would spread FAST. and i really want to see them

i really dont think so at this point, but it's not out of the question. my guess though is that they wouldn't do any shows in the US until
they get some tour support or some sort of record deal.

If you had joined a few months back you would have known The Livid already had a show in New York.
What was the place called again? Arlene's Grocery or something.
I'm sure you'll check them out sometime soon.
Keep spreading the word and support them with all you've got. You never know, they might get the funds to do a mini US tour.
I think they'd also fit in perfectly well if they did shows in the UK..but that's a little more of a stretch.
you won't let me down...

i actually joked about this with "tremendous", saying we could easily rustle up a livid tribute band.

Go on, do it, then you could be like the Gallaghers (sp?).
As for general livid questions, why is livid not a term used more often in conversations? Everyone says angry, but no one says livid, I'm
disappointed.

I don't.
>.>
<.<
Besides, that's not fair, people have a bad habit of shunning that which they do not understand, people should embrace the new and stop clinging
to the old ways. If humanity stuck with the ways of old we'd still be living in caves, clubbing animals and grunting phrases. We don't
though because we evolved, language changed, our mannerisms changed, our very way of life and the fundamentals of human interaction have adapted
through the ages.
So I say it's high time society accepted livid for the powerful emotion that it is.

it seems to appear much more in literature. i've seen the word livid in 4 out of the 5 books we've read this year in my english class.

it is that far when you only have 5 minutes between class. it's like 1-2 blocks between each class, wich means no time to hang out until
lunch.
and no, i live semi-far from my school, the picture i showed you guys earlier of my route to school was my junior high, the school i went to last
year.

for the first few years at my school i had to go quickly and directly from class to class too - my school was very spaced out too, at least for the
classes i had.
i was referring to the route on this map which says "car to 1st period". it doesn't look very far.

well it's about the same distance as from any 1 class of mine to annother. but it's a reasonably substantial drive from my house to that
parking spot.
