Live Recordings

I read a thread a while ago about people recording live shows on the forum, and wondered if there was a way for me to get a copy of any of those shows? I live in Texas, so it's unlikely that I'll be able to see The Livid live any time soon, but I'd love to hear their live sound. Anyone able to help me with this? Thanks...

Hmm, well I'm buying a minidisc recorder for the 279 show tomorrow. I'll record it, but I wont be able to give it to anyone. I'm recording it for myself. The band doesn't want their new stuff spread around on the internet, and the new stuff is the majority of their setlist nowadays.

There are a couple options for you. Go to www.myspace.com/thelivid and listen to "under this" live, in case you haven't yet. It's a good example of their live sound.

Quite some time ago, on this site we had a thread where there were 8 live songs available for dowload. I have doubts that they are still available to be downloaded, but it's possible. I'll search for the thread after. If that fails, guaranteed that someone on here has the mp3's on their computer. Though, these particular mp3's have pretty poor sound and don't give the band justice for their amazing live skills.

Actually, I would like to know if the band minds the new stuff being recorded, even if it's guaranteed to not be spread around. I'd like to know, because then I wont waste $100 on a recording device tomorrow.

there you go. but as Reivax said, they aren't very good quality recordings. Under This on myspace is their best live one yet.
