it seems that adam and rob are up for it, but chris less so. i haven't heard from justin. i hope they do it - they owe it to the fans.

Fuck it. I don't care anymore. I decided I don't want to see the band if half of them don't want to be there. Everytime I've seen them I was under the impression they loved being in that band, and it just wouldn't be the same knowing that their heart isn't even in The Livid. I'm being serious. I just don't give a fuck anymore.

Agreed.

The night's as hot as hell. It's a lousy room in a lousy part of a lousy town - I'm staring at a goddess. She's telling me she wants me. I'm not going to waste one more minute wondering how I've gotten this lucky. She smells like angels ought to smell, the perfect woman... the Goddess. Goldie. She says her name is Goldie.

its a really hard thing to call a band quits... it takes alot of convincing yourself that you are doing the right thing and then alot of guts to actually tell the band how you feel... i think that when you finally make that call you sometimes have a hard time with any blurring of that line... some people would love to play a last show... and but because someone isn't quite so up for it, you as a fan should not feel knocked because of it... maybe its internal issues he is having .... its just one of those things... everydody reacts differently... its understandable....

It definetly is hard as hell to call it quits, especially after putting years of work into it. I know that first hand. It's like breaking up with a girlfriend that you love but know it's just not going to work out. If you make that tough decision and break it off, you can't say yes when she asks you to screw her one more time... cause then you get sucked back into it all. It's the same way with this kinda thing.

Sorry for the bad analogy. I just woke up. haha

I'll be honest.....
I'm totally down with a show whenever Schembri feels he's ready, if he ever is.

It'll just help everyone stop feeling so sick to their stomach. The Livid's music to some people became something like a heroin addiction, and now they're suffering from withdrawal.
There will be no corpses though, just sad faces.

Worst analogy ever.
It totally makes Dag's look good.

A show would be nice, but if it happens it happens. If it doesnt, it doesnt. I wont complain, I'll be a tad upset but i think thats about all.

So i heard someone was looking for the perfect analogy...Got one.

The Livid is like today's gas prices...You just keep hoping that it goes back to being the way it was before.

Just a hypothetical question to keep this thread going.

If only 3 of the 4 guys were up for it, and we't ahead and did one show wthout the 4th (usung a fill-in) would you guys be into that or not?

they'd be missing the only one of them who was there from the start. i don't think that'd work.

I don't think three of them would do it without the fourth. First of all it would be a lot of work for that fourth person to learn everything and then practice with the guys for just one show. Second of all, I think the guys have to much respect for one another to go on without the fourth member.

so we've gotten 220 votes for a last show. im sure that's only a fraction of the fans... if it happened it would be a huge show.
