Breaking Down- Chords
Here's some chords for breaking down. My sound card is not working so i can't listen to it.. this is from memory. I'll add the intro
and the outro and make sure everything is right when i can hear the song. I'm not sure but i think it's in standatd tuning. I placed the
chord over the sylable in the lyrics where the chord changes. Hope this is a help to those who want to play this song.
..............D.....................G
There's a time we need to let go
........Bm
When everything that held you tight
.......A.......................................................G
And everything you thought was right
is lost
.........D
Will it wreck me?
...............G
Will I let it infect me?
....... Bm
Will I walk around like nothing's wrong
.....A.........................................G
Continue writing every song
about this?
...........D/F#............G
Now it's easier than said to run
D/F#.......................G..................Em
Underexposure's the key to having fun
..........G.............A
Yeah, right
.............................Bm..........A
Why am I breaking down?
............G....................D
Now I've found that my frown's become
.....A
my best friend
..........Bm.....A....G
It's the same old sound
...........D..........................A
And my broken heart's my right hand man
Bm.......A......G
..........Back down
......D..................A
Just let it be. Just let it be
Bm....A......G
Look a......round
..............D...........................A
Just don't take to heart the things you see
...............D.......................G
There's a hand we need to let fold
..............Bm
There's a time we need to right the truth
..........A...................................................G
While sitting back you watch the youth
slip away
.........D.........................G
It's a shame we need to be told
......Bm
Our passion's grown old
A.............................G
When did everybody get so cold?
...........D/F#............G
Now it's easier than said to run
D/F#.......................G..................Em
Underexposure's the key to having fun
..........G.............A
Yeah, right
.............................Bm..........A
Why am I breaking down?
............G....................D
Now I've found that my frown's become
.....A
my best friend
..........Bm.....A....G
It's the same old sound
...........D..........................A
And my broken heart's my right hand man
Bm.......A......G
..........Back down
......D..................A
Just let it be. Just let it be
Bm....A......G
Look a......round
..............D...........................A
Just don't take to heart the things you see

sounds pretty good. those clearly arent the exact chords that he's playing, but it's close enough to sound like the same song. thanks a
bunch.
oh and here's the lead for the chorus. im not sure about the second half (the "back down" bit), but this is the first half anyway.

and for the verse, i couldnt get the fast part, but i did get the bit when he sings "will it wreck me? will i let it infect me?" so maybe
that'll be a good start for someone else...

alright. thanks to Dag, im pretty sure i've got the real chords. the only problem is i dont know that they are called, so i just tabbed it all
out.
I dont know all the lead yet so if anyone wants to take a stab, go for it.

tuning
Tune your guitars to Db,Ab,Db,Ab,Db,Db. Now go and learn it again. I think it's actually a little sharper than that but that's what
tuning it's supposed to be in.

I just knew it was that tuning, because that's the alternate tuning I've used to most out over the years. Written quite a few songs and
riffs with it, too, so those open strings just sounded familiar.

chris did the day i understood, shaded, sink and most of at the seams. i then tidied them up, or completed them. the tabs for watch it die, egzit and
falling behind are based on some tabs chris wrote and sold years ago. again, they've been tidied for power tab. the rest were me with pointers
from chris, and broke and crossed was reivax and me.
