Reading tickets (sunday) for sale

This will probably get me banned from the forum, but that'll just go to show how desperate I am to get my money back on these 2 tickets.

They're for Sunday (ie *tomorrow*), and cost me 40 quid each to buy. If you're interested, PM me and we can sort something out. Alternatively, if you have any ideas on other ways I could get rid of them (besides selling them outside the festival, or on ebay), feel free to post them here.

Cheers

jeff - i think he's referring to the fact that the only two posts nexen has made have been in this thread, he hasn't introduced himself as a livid fan, etc etc.

but no matter, for he went to reading and so did i. it was fanfrickintastic.
bit late to try and sell them on here the day before though! did you sell them to ticket touts in the end?

yeah we did (i went with) and he got £55 for them with a bit of bartering... tbh i tnk ur over rating it, it was OK, not quite as good as last year and IMO the best band who played was Light White Motorcade. s'pose we did only go for Sunday, but the only stage which could have been better was the Jungle Stage on Sat. all the same just worth the money I paid for my ticket and we still had a laugh!

I thought it was awesome. Metallica ruled, System were fantastic, even Sum 41 were great, and I don't usually like them! The Used weren't as good as I hoped but all the same I was impressed by this weird technique the guitarist uses in Buried Myself Alive. Tried to recreate it myself and failed. Good Chaz were crap as expected, but thowing things at them was fun. Oh - Biffy Clyro were average to good as usual. Who else.... Hell is for Heroes - they were good fun. I think that's everyone I saw on sunday. But friday and saturday were great too! Yeah, the concrete jungle stage on saturday was brilliant, with Poison the Well, Boysetsfire and more who I've forgotten.

yeah Boysetsfire musta been awesome and the rest playing that stage! Thrice were playing 2 right?... But thought that Hell IFH were shite and so where system. I mean they both played really well (or at least System did), however they're just last years stuff now really. I agree bout The Used not playing so well - it was really their drummer i noticed the most, however they were good crowd pleasers and we were all jsut singing along anyway...

Reading was fucking awesome

theo ! you obviously didnt drink enough ! haha

errmm, friday was good, but i saw too many bands that day so I was really tired for Blink 182 and Linkin park. Linkin Park were really tight and everything sounded perfect .. too bad they dont write their own songs.

Sat was fucking good coz of the concrete jungle stage, FFAF ! boysetsfire were my biggest surprise of the festival, they've now got a new dedicated fan.

Posion the well were fucking heavy, Bart and I , and all our mates were walking to poison the well to find someone being dragged out because they had fallen over in the circle pit and had been trampled on, he started going into a spasm.

Anyway we still went in and got the shit kicked out of us, and experienced the most sickess double bass.

AFI , and hundred reasons also get a mention

Then on Sunday, we saw The Used, which I was also slighty dissapointed with, but they played with the crowd and made us do a HUGE wall of death.

ermm, system of a down were fucking amazing

and Metallica were just orgasmic, I kinda had to pinch myself to figure I was actually there. Loads of pyrotecnics that scared the shit out of me.

Master of puppets had the whole crowd chanting , Master ! , Master

And Fuel, and frantic was surprisly good

anyway after many pints consumed and eqaully as many pints of sweat, sweated

I had a fucking good time

Oh yeah, finch were awesome.

They co-write with song writers I think.
