Hey, welcome to the boards, this thread has already been done somewhere

but i cant be assed to find it.

The internet has really helped The Livid, like you and many others, I stumbled across the livid.

I downloaded a file called "falling behind" by Incubus

found out later it was by The Livid .. hooked ever since

I've been spreading the word about the livid to uk rock fans on various message boards... they've got a load of fans in the UK now

Hi.I don't think your question about where they are from was answered, they are from mississisauga (sp?) I believe. Which is about a little over an hour from Buffalo, NY and is just a few minutes outside of Toronto.

I've known of them for years because my brother was helping them on their gigs and he also used to be the web designer before they got more proffesional. He would always be talking about them and putting stickers around the house. Actually as a I wrote that I remembered there is a really old Livid sticker on my computer speaker. Anyway, he was always leaving their CD around and I gave it a listen and thought it was pretty good and listened to it periodically. Years later I stumbled across 'sink' on the computer and listened to it and I was floored, I could not believe that was the same band I was listening to a couple years ago. They were so good I downloaded everything I could. Favourite song is Broke and crossed.

If they played as ninja turtles, that show would probably take the crown as the best concert I have ever been to.

SideO_JR, I noticed you are from alberta, where abouts, may I ask? I lived most of the last 3 years in Edmonton. I just moved back to Burlington 2 weeks ago.

i found out about the livid through chris.... i was taking lessons from him, and he sold me a CD... he handed me fof on one of my first lessons and told me to listen to it, and if i liked it i could buy it.... it rocked, i loved it.... and from then on, everyone i knew was forced to listen to at least one song.... and a few people really took to their sound....
