calling all bands!
Anti-Industry is beginning a monthly concert series in Toronto in early December and is looking for bands of all genres to participate. This is a
great opportunity for artists to showcase their talent, share the stage with amazing headliners and promote the indie scene. Bands must provide their
own transportation to Toronto on the date of the gig.
Send your submissions (band name, contact name, link to MP3/EPK and phone number) to toronto@anti-industry.com. Visit www.anti-industry.com for
details.
Spread the word!

That is one wicked idea! I haven't visited the site yet (I will as soon as I'm done with something)...
Is there information there about how to assist to the actual exhibition and see the different performances?

As a matter a fact, if you're interested in helping out we're DYING for volunteers! We just started a Street Team so please join! And tell
all your friends!
As soon as we have all the details ironed out about the first show I will post them here.

Ya I'm just curious as to what I'm gonna have to do if I sign up for the street team.. I know it's prob. like hand out flyers and
the usual basics... But ya, can you just explain it a bit more "throughly"(sp?)
one last show.

Wicked, thanks for signing up guys! I'm not helping out with the organization of the street team so I'm not really sure what its fine
leader Lewis has planned. As far as I can tell the gist of the street team is to spread the word about A-I nights through the internet, word of
mouth, etc. However, more than anything we need street teamers to help us out at the shows. We are totally volunteer-run so our concerts will need as
many people as possible to man the doors, sell merch, mingle with the bands, etc. Just for helping out we will be offering street teamers a chance at
free t-shirts, discount cards for local businesses and more. You'll also get to meet lots of cool people (fans AND musicians!) and generally
just have a great time. If you know anyone else that mught want to lend a hand please spread the word!

I don't know if you're supposed to get a confirmation e-mail or not. I'll talk to Lewis and see what's happening.
These shows are going to occur on a monthly basis beginning in early December. Once we get things rolling you will definitely be able to pick what you
want to do to help out. We're still sorting out the first show though so just be patient!
EDIT: You guys have joined the A-I message board right? If so, why don't you post your questions in the
Street Team forum (<---click!)? Lewis is
there to help.
