Metronome?

Does anyone know if the Livid play to a click track live? I am assuming so since I see Adam listening to something on headphones, and what appear to be tempos written on their set lists.

he does??? that's awesome! that means the drummer is always tight to the max. i know that drummers always use the metronome while they're recording their songs... but live is extra cool... because it's not the easyiest thing to do live. my old drummer couldnt even record with a metronome.... By the way, does anyone know any good drummers in L.A. that doesnt charge an arm and a leg to record???

surely it's also a skill not to have to use a metronome all the time...

It's harder playing with one than without. It's not like a "crutch" that keeps you in time, if that's what you're thinking.

Well, that was pointless, but then again, so is this.

True, but only if you are good enough to play along to it. Which is a lot harder than it sounds.

sometimes i use the click live and sometimes i dont. it really just depends on how i feel that night. the reason is mostly because we tend to get a bit hyper on stage and we use the click to make sure we dont play all the songs way too fast. its not about me having a bad meter problem, because if that was the case, i probably wouldnt be the drummer in The Livid. we didnt use it on halloween. we did use it for most of the set at 279. so there you have it dudes! peace!
