musical advice.
a few of my friends and i want to get together an play a bunch of songs, and falling behind is one of them. on it, i play the lead guitar and i sing.
i can do both separatly very well, but i cant seem to sing and play the chorus at the same time. they just dont work together for me. does anyone have
any advice as to how to overcome this problem?

Or you could try playing the rhythm part instead... (I am assuming you are playing the lead)

i know. He's a drummer. he sucks at guitar. but he was willing, and it is easy enough of a tune.

there is no way around it, no simple answer other than A: Practice, or B: Play the rhythm and let someone else play lead. if they can't play
lead, they need to either A: Learn, or B: Let someone else play it who either A: Knows it, or B: Will learn it
i suggest practicing, practice makes perfect, you can only get better if you practice and better is always good. thats why its called better

It also helps to take a really close look at what your hands are doing during times that you're singing lyrics. Practice things incredibly
slowly at first, painfully slow even. It'll help you get a better hold on the tune in the end.
