Hidden Songs?

K so heres the story...
I was searching on kazaa for the livid cause i needed release(i still haven't heard it) and i found these songs like shame on you, in your face, breath and feeding frenzy. Are any of these actual songs by the livid or is there another band like that....or...is someone "false advertising" in order to get publicity(kinda like what the livid did with incubus, finger eleven)(not saying the band personaly did that altho it is quite possible)

How do you communicate those emotions that are so intense that no physical expression or series of words can even scratch the surface?

in your face is a real song off of king of the castle. but as far as i know, those other songs arent by the livid, or have been named incorrectly. and no, there are no hidden tracks... but that would be cool.

there are various other bands called "livid". i downloaded a few tracks from a few "livid"s and i was pretty appalled.

I believe that Livid is an American band from the east coast. I'm not nearly as down with their styles as I am with "the livid"

there's at least two canadian "livid"s i have songs by - one of them are a high school band who have probably broken up by now and the other is a little bigger. if you search google for "livid band" you can find a bunch.

in your face is a good song. let's have everyone's attempts at the lyrics. without looking at sin's site. chris doesn't even know those lyrics, so i've been trying to contact jeremy to get official ones. no luck so far...

Speaking of discovering songs, I was listening to KOTK yesterday and discovered 'Step Up'. I've never listend to that before, b/c I usually just listen to the famous ones. But now I'm like addicted to it. Woot!

one last show.

step up on KOTK i think is a better version than the one on FOF, but thats just me...of course the production on the FOF version is a lot better so it sounds a hell of a lot better, but i like the long intros on the entire KOTK cd.

Step up on FOF has a sweet bridge. In your face... isn't that one where jeremy raps? I think so. They played that live when I saw them WAAAY back. I did like the intro though...

yeah in your face sure is the one where jeremy raps. i can't decide between the two versions of step up - the newer one is a lot more concise... but let's get our abbreviations right: KOTC

No way man... it's the "hood" version of the album. KOTK: King of the Kastle, because spelling things incorrectly is kool!

step up and falling behind have got to be my fav livid songs... incredable... i like the KOTC version of Step up a lil better, but they are both f-ing incredable...

here's my stab at the lyrics for In Your Face:

I took that much straight what i can do
kick it in i dont say "you know i'll do it all for you"
Messed up force in my head holding this micophone

__________ Rocking alone

i dont know what to do when i think of my head as a bust
but with thought and emotions better left unsaid
but you know when it's all and dead
ill be grounded and shattered and you _____ ___ _____

Your so mean in my ways
you left me so unwell
your so mean and all i say
you left me till the end
till the end

should i come up again
a hand up in your face
apologise for what i did
but will you blame me, just dont blame me, will you blame me the same?

fall apart as you say "i'll never let you see"
you fall away coming back begging for sympathy
bet you when i come back with a vengence

stepping on heads till they remember it

hell, nobody knows how to rock in harmony
bring out the melody
kick up the beat you see like I
bringing it down, breaking it down
breaking the wall and breaking everyone around me

well there you go. i bet only 5% of that is correct (hell, most of it doesnt even make sense) but it's a start.

the covers on fear of fading were too glossy and overproduced, it lacked the raw emotion of KoTC...just my opinion though.

It's weird how sometimes you can get a certain quality in the very first take of a song when recording that you can never replicate. When I do my demos, there is always something about them that is indescribably better than the "produced" version, despite the far superior recording quality of the newer ones.
