I saw that about a year ago. That kid is unbelievable!! I am not sure if I have ever seen a more impressive drumming performance ever... and he's only 12... Damn.

I'm not a drummer and I know nothing about it, however, it looked weird to me when he was hitting some of the cymbals from the bottom and the top when he doing a faster bear. Is this a normal way to attack the cymbal?

It's not normal to attack a cymbal that way but who cares, he can do whatever the fuck he wants!

Tony Royster is approaching 20 now I believe.

If any of you people smoke marijuana I urge you to watch the drum solo while baked. It's incredible.

i had experimented w that way of hitting the hat's before, but think his best grove is where he is hitting the bell of the hat whilst opening/closing it - awesome and now i use it.
