*Food*

You ALL know you love it....so let's get some conversation flowing here.

Please answer the following.

  1. -When it comes to food, what's your "guilty pleasure"?
  2. -What are your favourite dishes to order when dining out?
  3. -Can YOU cook?
  4. -If your answer to question C was "yes"...do you believe you could outsmart me in a cooking contest?
  5. -Do you prefer sweets,(Desserts and such) or salty foods(main course dishes and all that jazz) ?

A. I'd have to say vegetarian sushi or yorkshire pudding.

B. Mainly pizza. Especially when I go to Boston Pizza, because my friend Cameron works there and he makes the pizza and he won't let me order anything else.

C. I make some pretty good Mac n' cheese!!

D. Probably not. I am pretty clueless around the kitchen. A few years ago, I was trying to spread the butter on my toast but the butter was too hard to cut so I put it in the microwave...with the tin foil on...please don't judge me!

E. Usually salty foods.

A. Pitas from Pita Pit.
B. Anything Seafood when I'm dining out.
C. Yes, I can cook. I enjoy making omlets with tons of stuffing ie. mushrooms seasoned with garlic. Also I'm known to cook incredible roast chicken.
D. Yes, I could outsmart Des in a cooking contest. No one seasons food like I do.
E. Usually salty foods but I like sweet too.

ONEperson has stepped up to the challenge so far.....very well then Jeff (writes your name down) I'll keep it in mind

by the way
the correct answer to question D is "no one can outsmart the Almighty one"...ever wonder why I picked the letter D for this particular question?...Exactly.

Ah, I'm just messing with you all...let's keep the conversation going.

A. Pringles, probably. Sour cream and onion. Because if I get a can I can't stop until they are gone, then I usually get sick for a day or two.

B. I usually get some sort of a sandwich, something with barbecue sauce. When I lived in Edmonton I went to a burger place named red robin's and always got a whiskey barbecue burger. Very good.

C. I can cook, for sure. I'm just slightly limited on my knowledge. I have a limited variety of what I like to cook, but I do it well.

D. Nope.

E. I don't really like sweets. Like sugar and stuff. Occasionally I will eat a chocolate bar. Salty snacks are my fav. like popcorn and chips, but I do my best not to eat too much because I don't exactly have a high metabolism and I could easily get quite fat. I was a porker in high school and it was because of those damn pringles and chocolate milk. I'm still kinda big, but now I just look a little more muscular than fat, even though I'm more the later..

A: Cheese and biscuits. I will down an entire box of Chedder Cheese Biscuits and a block of Coon in one sitting if I have the time.

B: Seafood platters, I love seafood at restaurants cause it (usually) tastes delicious, and there's such a huge variety in it.

C: Depends, I can make stuff, and I don't botch a recipe if I'm making something from a book. However, I'm not creative, or skilled, enough to grab a bunch of ingredients and form a masterpiece fit for the Queen.

D: I pretty much answered this with C, but I'll reiterate, no. My reasoning being this is that I can't just make something I haven't already done before (unless I have a recipe to work from).

E: Depends, it's a difficult question because there's a lot of great desserts, but there's also some incredible main courses that i could never pass up if offered. So I can't choose, since if I were posed with the choice, to eat my favourite dessert and or to gobble down my favourite main meal I'd never decide on which one to eat.

block of coon...that's a new one.

And don't worry Dez. I don't really think im that big...I am a little. But the weird thing is I'm quite confident in myself, I don't ever look in the mirror and think anything bad about myself. I used to hate everything about myself when I was young...everything. I guess it just comes with growing up, there are more important things to worry about. And I've had a very attractive girlfriend for 3 years and that boosted my confidence. (Sorry to go off topic....I'm plenty done.)

I'll hazard a guess and say you've never heard of Coon cheese? Good shit, though it did cause a lawsuit in recent years over the name.

That's funny. No, never heard of it. But I don't like cheese so much. Chedder and crackers are quite good, though.
