Anything like this ever happen to anyone?
I was filling up my car with gas today, and to make a long story short, before I had even put any gas in my car, the meter started telling me I owed
20 bucks. The woman inside started yelling something at me over the intercom thingy, so I went inside to talk to her. She starts insisting that I owe
her 20 bucks, which I do not since I haven't put any gas in the car. This goes on for about 15 minutes, I tell her I didn't get any gas,
and she calls me a thief and a liar, although not in those words. I showed one of the other attendants that my gas tank was on empty, but that
wouldn't convince the woman though. She just kept bitching at me and insisting I pay. I eventually just left my name and number and went across
the street for my gas, as I will from now on. Has anyone ever went through anything like this??

How do you communicate those emotions that are so intense that no physical expression or series of words can even scratch the surface?

what?
oh well, i give up.
it has never happend to me, but sometimes, people forget to take the hose out, and they drive away, the hose rips out of the tank, and it draggs along
behind the car ive seen that a few times, its funny.

Some guy I saw the other day thought the air pump was a gas pump. He had the tube in the side of the car before his mate let him know.

yeah you have to wait for the meter to clear before you start filling your tank. or just avoid blatantly stupid attendants.

Oh I saw a thingy on TV that was talking about fire's caused by filling up your gas tank. Something like the electrodes in your seat(or any
fabricing thing) jump to the metal of the hose. Then, when your gas is squirting out, it causes a big explosion. Ppl have died from that. So always
remember- touch something metal before you pump your gas.
one last show.

yeah, you dont want your car to explode while you are filling up, especially because the gas holding tanks are just below the asphault, right
underneath your car. ive seen it happen before... that was one hell of an explosion!

Wow Rob, that sucks!
If I had been in that situation, definetly I would have felt an urge to punch that lady!
See...this incident that you just talked about brings back a lot of memories of different situations, where the employee at the particular store is
not trained properly and most likely knows nothing about the theme,in this case..cars and gas.
It even happens with retail..
This other night I went to buy a dress for a dinner party, and I noticed this really pretty one..but the neck part was kinda confusing, and I
wasn't sure of how to tie it...(it had some knot-twist-pull to the side mechanism) so..I asked one of the chicks who worked there if she could
help me out...she didnt even know how to do it, nor she knew of the dress's existance (even though it was in the friggin window) and just said
"i dont know" and walked away...
Okay..I'm about to spend close to 200 bucks on a frickin' dress from YOUR store, and you can't even have properly trained employees
who know what the hell they are doing/dealing with?
I wouldn't want to work at a store where I know nothing about what I'm working with...it just doesn't make sense.
Rant,over.
you won't let me down...

All this talk of gasoline reminds me of the gasoline fight in Zoolander. What dumbasses. I think I will go watch that movie now...
The night's as hot as hell. It's a lousy room in a lousy part of a lousy town - I'm staring at a goddess. She's telling me she
wants me. I'm not going to waste one more minute wondering how I've gotten this lucky. She smells like angels ought to smell, the perfect
woman... the Goddess. Goldie. She says her name is Goldie.

ah ha ha! that movie is he-larious!
and what a dumbass name....le tigre. LOL they are dumb, they get blown up.
my mom must of saw the same special on t.v. or something cause now she gets all paranoid when going into a gas station. She turns off her
cell phone because she thinks she can get blown up too.
oh and dessy,, its stupid when you see stupid untrained retail salespeople. Well, that would not happen where I work in retail. I am a very
knowledgable sales associate if I may add. So go to Danier leather, tell them Kaitlynn sent you.
Ew and yes I do work at a leather store, yes dead cows made into clothing it is sad. I haven't ever bought anything leather from there,
I'm kinda against it. Strange how I say that but can still sell them to people....

Before this thread goes offtopic...like it usually tends to do.. Kaitlynn, I'm not going aaaaall the way to Pickering
Thank you, that is all.
And, untrained employees are an issue, everywhere.
I say we do something about it, although..I can't think of what just now

I'm assuming because you were getting gas that your tank was near empty, so if you supposedly put $20 in the tank, couldn't you show the
lady you're gauge?

Looks like it didn't work Rev.
Never seen this happen before. But I also don't have patience. If I have to wait for gas I'll says and move on. Unless there's
a free pump I will not wait. Which is one of the reasons I use Shell's FastPay. No waiting for moron attendants, display tag, fill and leave.

No I have never had anything like that happen. I have been pumping gas tho since I was five. You would think something like that would happen but no.
I would just tell the woman that she was overreacting considering there was enough proof there to prove that your tank was way too empty for you to
have put in $20 already.
That really has got to bite though
