a box in the ground

if you made a time machine to put in the ground for someone to find in hundreds of years, what 5 things would you put in it?

I said I would put:
a thimble, a knife, a pack of guitar strings, a pencil, and a box of matches..... the essentials to life

However, I suggest that you explain your reasons for selecting the objects that you chose….

the act of sacraficing bitter memories

i cant bring myself to fogive you, i cant force myself to fogive you, i cant bring myself to forgive you

I would put in the chronicle of the 20th century.

An encylopedia.

A weapon.

A Bible.

A map of the continents in their present state.

a picture of me posing thoughtfully

a picture of me flexing my muscles

a picture of me on a zebra print rug

a picture of me giving the finger and swearing

a picture of me giving the wink and the gun

Amid the chaos of that day, when all I could hear was the thunder of gunshots, and all I could smell was the violence in the air, I look back and am amazed that my thoughts were so clear and true, that three words went through my mind endlessly, repeating themselves like a broken record: you're so cool, you're so cool, you're so cool. And sometimes Clarence asks me what I would have done if he had died, if that bullet had been two inches more to the left. To this, I always smile, as if I'm not going to satisfy him with a response. But I always do. I tell him of how I would want to die, but that the anguish and the want of death would fade like the stars at dawn, and that things would be much as they are now. Perhaps. Except maybe I wouldn't have named our son Elvis.

Lmao. That's gold.

I don't really know what I would put in it...definately a letter explaining what life was like in our time. And a half burned picture of George Bush with a dart through it...or maybe a voodoo doll of Bush instead...I dunno. I will come back later.

The night's as hot as hell. It's a lousy room in a lousy part of a lousy town - I'm staring at a goddess. She's telling me she wants me. I'm not going to waste one more minute wondering how I've gotten this lucky. She smells like angels ought to smell, the perfect woman... the Goddess. Goldie. She says her name is Goldie.

won wonnnnnnnnnnn.

i dont think you'd lilke to find the kind that's been buried underground for thousands of years and covered in dirt.

i'm looking for one that's never been used and around 20 years old.

I would put myself in a box that is frozen, then I could come back to life... like austin powers did once! That sounded corny...oh well.

I would put the corpses of people I have killed in the box. If it won't be found for a thousand years then there would be no evidence.

Why not put news articles and shit inside of this box. If you were going to open it up 1000 years later, wouldn't you want a little reminder. I actually have one planted in my front garden. Go mold, grow!
