Small world.

Ok so last night I went to see The Holiday Plan and Billy Talent in Portsmouth (city on South coast of UK for those who don't know).

I go up to the merch stand and this guy starts laughing, so i'm like wtf?

Anyway, he says, 'You're wearing a Livid shirt.'

I'm like, 'Yeah.'

And he's like, 'Yea my friend used to be in that band.'

Turns out he is good friends with no other than Christian Kennerney.

How queer.

How odd.
See what happens when you wear a TheLivid shirt though?
It seriously makes people notice you...it's weird, whenever I wear it at least TWO people will ask who the band is, or will say "Hey! I was at their show the other day" or "they went to my school" or something..

The Livid rocks.
But, Hyde that was odd haha...it truly is a small world after all.

yeah a guy in my school who i never really talked to recognised my music tech work a few weeks ago, and it turns out he's a big fan. the others at my school who listen to the livid never told him about them, he found them on mp3.com or something. i thought that was pretty odd.

If I am not mistaken, they thank a certain "Kenacne" on their album's "thank yous"
Maybe it's him, maybe it isn't...

Yeah, Christian went to school with them. Ian used to be a substitute teacher at strings attached I think haha.

The night's as hot as hell. It's a lousy room in a lousy part of a lousy town - I'm staring at a goddess. She's telling me she wants me. I'm not going to waste one more minute wondering how I've gotten this lucky. She smells like angels ought to smell, the perfect woman... the Goddess. Goldie. She says her name is Goldie.

the guy who asked about the shirt was probably Bowman. i could see him having a nut laughing at seeing someone with a Livid shirt abroad.

[plus, he's the merch guy]

Amid the chaos of that day, when all I could hear was the thunder of gunshots, and all I could smell was the violence in the air, I look back and am amazed that my thoughts were so clear and true, that three words went through my mind endlessly, repeating themselves like a broken record: you're so cool, you're so cool, you're so cool. And sometimes Clarence asks me what I would have done if he had died, if that bullet had been two inches more to the left. To this, I always smile, as if I'm not going to satisfy him with a response. But I always do. I tell him of how I would want to die, but that the anguish and the want of death would fade like the stars at dawn, and that things would be much as they are now. Perhaps. Except maybe I wouldn't have named our son Elvis.

LOL...

anyway, the men shirt sizes are strange... i've got a medium and a large... the large is way too big for me, but the medium is a bit too small, but no girls will complain about guys wearing shirts that a size too small... and vise versa...

i get asked about it when i wear my Livid shirt too. it's good advertisement.
