Hey everyone, it's about time I got up here and posted something! I apologize for that. I have been checking out your posts every week and I
want to thank you for tuning into The Livid and supporting our cause, we appreciate it. I saw the post on the Montreal show and it seems that you all
want to know how the show went. Since we played at the bar where I grew up as a musiscian, CLYDES, I thought I'd take the honours of answering
this one.
Well, we arrived at the bar and found out we were playing with 3 other bands and scheduled to play after 1am. We decided that we would prefer to open
up the night with a high-energy, 7 song set and warm up the crowd. We started at around 10:15pm and played Watch It Die, Egzit, At The Seams, I Could
Fall, Shaded. Reckless and the new song everyone is asking about, The Tide. There was a good sized crowd and they responded well to our set. Some of
the other bands approached us after our ste and told us that they really loved our stuff and they asked for our contact info.
This show was the 1st chance that my best friends from Montreal could hear The Livid live and they all were very impressed by our songs and how tight
we played together and our energy on stage. It was great to finally play for all my close friends and our fans in MTL. I had the pleasure of
meeting Emily after the show and she said she loved our set but wished we could have played longer. We wished we could play longer too, but we had to
comprimise for the 3 other bands playing after us: The Break of Dawn, Special Opts, and Repetant.
All in all, it was a great show and it was exciting to play in a different city for the 1st time...a city I know all too well!! We are looking
forward to all our shows coming up in April and May in the TO region. Keep on checking out the show section of the site for new shows that we will
post as soon as they are confirmed.
Take it easy,
Justin

Welcome to the boards Justin! I'm glad the show went well.
The night's as hot as hell. It's a lousy room in a lousy part of a lousy town - I'm staring at a goddess. She's telling me she
wants me. I'm not going to waste one more minute wondering how I've gotten this lucky. She smells like angels ought to smell, the perfect
woman... the Goddess. Goldie. She says her name is Goldie.

How do you communicate those emotions that are so intense that no physical expression or series of words can even scratch the surface?

I just think I deserve "firsties" on the Rob title.
Oh, what the hell, I'm not in the band... I don't count. I'll get used to it. I feel so unloved.
I'm going to go drink.

Don't suppose there are any live recordings of your performance in MTL eh?
I remember Adam said at Club 279 that Rob didn't sing too much, but I'd like to hear what he does
