Melbourne International Comedy Festival
Wee, I just came back from seeing Lee Mack and Ross Noble at the Melbourne Comedy Festival, and I must say if either of them are ever in your neck of
the woods I highly recommend seeing their shows. Especially Ross Noble, the man is a God when it comes to improvisation, 95% of his show was based
around the audience only, which was damn cool. Lee Mack was just hilarious, he made a hell of a lot of distasteful jokes that were so damn funny.
But yeah, definitely go see them (they're both English, Lee Mack was on a show called The Sketch Show which I asked him about and he said there
won't be any new seasons and Ross actually resides in Australia now, go Oz).
Anyway, the brits probably know of both comedians, so this is more for the Canadian bunch.
As for past shows I saw, I did manage to see Lano and Woodley, legends of Australian comedy (seriously, you have to see these guys at least once in
your life, you'll be on the floor laughing they're so damn funny) and also Tom Gleeson, who is rather new to the mainstream screen, namely
due to a show called Skithouse on Australian tv that he stars in. He is also incredibly funny.
My point is, if you ever get the chance see these guys, I know Montreal holds the biggest (I think) comedy festival in the World so if you see any of
these names crop up, go and see them, you will not be disappointed.
