If you could...
I'm bored and I haven't made a thread for a while. So, I ask you this: If you could travel back in time to any decate, century, whatever,
when would you pick?
Also, with all the knowledge you have now, what would be the first thing you wold do to make yourself rich? Clearly, there is a ton of things you
could do to make yourself wealthy knowing past history. Gambling, stocks...whatever.
And finally, why did you pick this year? What would be some of things you would like to do?

Um... let me think.
I'd probably go back to the 1800's and see what happened with Ned Kelly, becuase I've heard conflicting stories. I know, I'm a
boring fella.

Great idea for a thread Reivax.
I have 3 possible time periods I'd like to go to, all for different reasons.
1. The time of Christ. I'd like to witness his birth (I could be included in all the manger scenes right next to Joseph, giving the shocker).
I'd like to see this just because it's probably one of the most significant events in modern history.
I would stay in the past to also witness the death of Christ, again one of the most significant things in history.
2. The Crusades. This event in history angers me a lot. Well, generally anything that involves using religion as a justification to kill angers me.
I think I would bring a few sub-machine guns back in time to kill a few people just to intimidate them and tell them to cease killing Muslims.
Aside: If it didn't mess up history too much, I might either claim I was the 2nd coming of God or the anti-christ just to mess with people.
3. June 6th, 1944. I would like to see the invasions of D-Day. I'm a bit of a World War II buff and I would like to see the largest armed
invasion in the history of humankind.

What about November 15th, 1955. That's the day Marty McFly goes back to In Back to the Future.

Ooooh, you gave me a great idea Reivax. I'd go back to 1914, and tell the ANZAC's not to land at Gallipoli. Show them photographs of what
happened when they did, and set them on the correct course.

I'd go back to the Spanish civil war...but I'd have to be like 20 years old or something, so that I could be Federico Garcia Lorca's
lover (he's such an amazing poet).

I'd go back to the eighties, just cause I love the guitar music that came out in the 80's/early 90's and I'd have loved to see
all those bands like Bon Jovi, GnR, Van Hale, and Motley Crue live when they were in thier prime. Not that some of these bands aren't a great
live show now, just that it would be amazing to feel that 80's Hard Rock energy that just isn't around anymore. *pumps fist in the air*

I'd like to go back to the beginning of WW1, when Franz Ferdinand was assinated. In my mind, WW1 began the 20th century and it'd be a
rockin' time with them crystal sets and Barron Vonrictoven. It's just a really nifty time, IMO.
