The Day I Understood... Singer?
One of my favorite songs by The Livid is "The Day I Understood" and I was just wondering if anyone knew who did the screaming vocals in
that song? And if Chris is reading this why aren't there any other songs out there like it?
I just thought it was different and sounded pretty good.

Last time I saw them live they did The Day I Understood, and yes Shane was the one who did the screaming vocals.

Yeah, Shane was the screamer. I don't know what you mean by "why aren't there any songs like it". If you mean by screaming,
it's cuz I got tired of the screaming trend really quickly. It's cool if that's the kind of band you are, but if you're not
than you shouldn't be screaming. Plus, we don't really have anyone who can do that anymore.
If you mean to ask why we don't have many upbeat songs that are somewhat heavy, I think Shaded is pretty similar, and there are a couple on the
way that are kinda like that too.

You only put it in one song Chris. Personally I think it's good that you chose to experiment. Experimentation is something all artists should
do. At the end of it all, you saw that screaming really shouldn't be in your music, and you're all the wiser having tried it.
What did you think of the "frantic" clip I sent you?
Also there are 2 30 second clips of new st. anger songs up at:

I think Christian is a way better bass player, man that guy's talented! Well, they all are. His mic checks are the best, and if ne one has seen
them live, u know wat i mean.

Mic checks are fun. Check, check, one, wah, wah, waaan, two, twew, chew, cheeeew, *click*, *clock*.
I love testing mics, I like bands that don't really know what fileback is too, makes setting it up easier because they don't care what
they can hear
