I would never kick you in the head, Chris. You are too speshl.
The night's as hot as hell. It's a lousy room in a lousy part of a lousy town - I'm staring at a goddess. She's telling me she
wants me. I'm not going to waste one more minute wondering how I've gotten this lucky. She smells like angels ought to smell, the perfect
woman... the Goddess. Goldie. She says her name is Goldie.

Probably might be a good idea to switch bands, people seem to be getting a bit restless in this thread.

it's 4 days plus forgetfulness time for each poll - so today is the day for the switch. i'll do it a little later.

ok - the last poll of these 16 bands. could do another 16 bands and pit the winner of this one against the new victor? if so, get those nominations
coming in - one each again.
incubus vs the beatles.

I wasn't saying you were late or anything, just that people started getting majorly off topic and I figured the easiest way to fix that would be
to put up a new poll.

Heres the tournament I have going on the Matthew Good forum right now.
people nominated 5 bands they wanted, the most votes for whatever bands got a bye pass to round 2.
I just leave it open for about a day it usually gets like 10-15 votes.

Can someone explain to me how Incubus is better than The Beatles?
Now, don't get me wrong.. Incubus happens to be one of my favorite bands, who knows how many times I've listened to their stuff, but..
"best band in the world"? The title cannot possibly go to them, it's gotta be The Beatles.
13 albums of great, pure music in 10 years.
Maybe we should go back to the elementary basics of what makes a great band.
Incubus has superb talent, but nothing compares to The Beatles.
I'm willing to go "Rob H." on this and start debating it out if it's necessary, haha.
Speaking of which, I miss that guy.

Maybe Bart should edit the topic, but this was never really meant to be a "best band in the world" sorta poll. If it were, I'm sure
half the bands wouldn't have been chosen. I know I would have picked something different.
I've been voting for who I like more, not who I think is the best. And realistically, if the topic said "most influencial band in the
world" maybe there's a need to get flustered with the results. Also, keep in mind the average age of this forum. Not that many people on
here I would imagine listen to the Beatles alot. I've never really been exposed much to beatles, and I'm one of the older members. I chose
Incubus simply because I know their music alot better, and enjoy it more.

i chose incubus, because i currently enjoy their music more, and therefore i think they are a better band at the moment. it's definitely
difficult. i think each member of incubus is better at their instrument than the members of the beatles (i can't say about the new incubus
bassist - haven't seen enough of him). i'm not sure about songwriting. the beatles are probably more varied... but i'm just more
into incubus.
very hard decision.
